My daughter was scared of the shadow her nightlight made, but other bulbs would interrupt her sleep cycle and she’d get up multiple times a night. This bulb gives off just enough light that she isn’t scared and not enough that she wakes up because of it. I highly recommend it for toddlers who are scared of the dark.

Too dim

This low wattage light is ideal for the lamp in the dogs room where she sleeps at night. I can easily go in and see that she is OK in her kennel without disturbing her. I imagine it would work great for a kids bedroom but our younger daughter does not want a light on in her bedroom.

Perfect dim light. Is great on regular lamp but gives out night light lighting. Take in mind using a lighter colored lamp shade. It is comfortable not to wake baby but to see for feedings.

I have this beautiful beaded antique table lamp I bought about 20 years ago. It was supposedly 100 years old then (so they said), you know. It only uses this ONE very particular bulb which is totally impossible to find ANYWHERE locally in this very large city that Im not particularly interested in scouting out in each and every no name hardware whatsit store with my 72 year old driver, ya know? But never fear, Amazon has it. They have everything. So, I order these bulbs because they are PERFECT and last forever... or seems like it. When I reordered this one the other day, I think it said the last time I ordered was 2017 and its now 2020. So, guess thats how long. They dont use much energy. I never turn this lamp off. The lamp and the bulb have one job: Sit on a table in my bedroom and look beautiful ... and mind its own business. Bonus, it lasts forever. PERFECT!

Used for a little little lamp on my kitchen table. Perfect amount of light. Used as a soft night light ,warm glow just to see your way through in the dark!

I needed to find a nightlight for an upcoming visit by my granddaughter. It is only a couple of nights so I did not want to buy a whole nightlight. I have a table lamp and this low watt bulb fits it perfectly. Now I know I can always use that when needed. Good purchase.
