It was my first time tye-dying and was very effective and simple. Love the quality and colors it produced. Will buy again!

I was presently surprised at how great the t-shirts turned out. The colors are vibrant, easy to use and not as messy as I anticipated - note that I did this project with a 6 and a 4 year old! We did a swirl pattern and a diagonal fan fold on 2 children size shirts and 2 draw string bags; there was enough dye left for a couple of other shirts. How many items you can make obviously depends on the size of the shirts but also on the pattern you choose. We followed the steps as indicated - at the end, rinse, rinse, rinse and rinse some more. We also let the shirts soak in water with white vinegar to let the colors set before washing/drying them in the machine. Have had no problem with color bleeding and they remain vibrant after several washes. Highly recommend it!

Good product but the price has been increased every time we have ordered. First was $10.54, then a dollar more the $1.50 more. No thanks.

Pros: * The shirts turned out great * There were plenty of rubber bands to band up all three shirts before we started dying * With half of the dye sent, we dyed one adult shirt, one toddler shirt, and one onesie, so you could easily do 5 adult shirts with the amount included * The colors are pretty vivid * The rubberbands were good quality and not brittle Cons: * The kit was supposed to include red, yellow, and blue, but included 2 yellow and one red * The gloves included in the kit didnt protect against the dye * The instructions on the rit dye site are much better than what they include in the kit - there are instructions that get it done in less than 6 hours there If I had to choose a kit again, I probably wouldnt pick this one, but it got the job done for my daughters spirit week tie dye shirt

My kids loved it! We had to use a cupcake pan to mix colors since it only comes with the 3 primary colors.

I received this today. When it arrived the box was pretty smashed, which really disappointed me. Once I try it, I’ll edit my post.

When it was delivered the box was dented and damaged.

I have purchased this twice now since it is such a simple kit to work with. One kit made 3 adult female and 2 adult male shirts and I was happy with the results. You could do more or less shirts depending upon their sizes. Bigger shirts use more dye - common sense! Either way, the kit is worth the money.
