I bought a different one some years ago but it always shifted too much with the weight of my phone, this one locks into place perfectly. I have a really wide phone and it holds it with no problem. I really love this clip and cant sing its praises enough.

I really do like this camera mount. I always look for something made of metal or high quality composites. This mount checks all the boxes. It not only looks good but functions as good as it looks. The 1/4-20 mount hole on the bottom allows you to mount this to any of your tripod plated with ease. I have mine mounted to an Arca style plate for quick switching between my tripods.

Wasnt expecting much from this product when I ordered it. But after a slight learning curve on understanding how this thing works, it really performed better than what I wouldve expected. Used it on vacation in the Southwest, and it really just did what it was designed to do. The build felt solid and the fit on the tripod was perfect. My iPhone had a tight fit when locked in place and I had no worries that it would fall off.

Frustrated by my LED cube lights positioning as independent units, I was going to go with three separate tripods for them (ugh, the carrying logistics! ) until I found this.

I wasnt looking for anything super nice, just something to get the job done at a decent price, but I was extremely surprised with the quality and attention to detail and features for this mount. Ball joints at the neck are never very secure so I decided to go with this one instead (relying on the ball joint on my higher quality tripod instead). Im very glad I did, this thing is rock solid and works great with all my other gear. I highly recommend this!

I’ve struggled with a lot of the cheap plastic tripod mounts that come with some of the more affordable smart phone tripods. This one not only works beautifully and holds the phone very securely but it’s also very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. If I ever need to buy another tripod mount I’m going to buy another one of these. The only thing I would say would make it better is if they included some kind of swivel bottom extension so you had that ability to tilt your phone forward or backward and in some other directions other than just switching from portrait to landscape.
