After trying several tripod holders for my iPhone (with slim case) for photo and video shooting, this model is the best Ive used so far. It is well made with metal materials, easy to adjust and tightens well, with spring loading grip for phone that seems very secure. I attach a 50 mm arca-swiss base plate to allow fast switching to different tripods, monopod, and mini tripod. Highly recommend.

its sturdy for sure and solid metal. the offside to that is that its heavy. I like to carry light especially if Im recording with my smartphone. this thing adds a lot of weight! its quality for sure but you compromise weight. all the knobs can be confusing for those looking to just clip their phone on and shoot.

I believe this phone tripod mount will work alright for my iPhone to take photos (…which my phone’s leather case insert holder is mounted in a fine leather folio wallet). It is sturdy & well made as mentioned in my title. It doesn’t appear the leather will get damaged by the jaws of the holder, at least I’m hoping not. (May look into getting a small square of leather to carry/add to the bottom jaw.)

This mount has a solid, high-quality feel to it, and it holds pretty much any phone size in a secure, stable grip. The machining and materials are obviously high quality.

This is a quality bit of gear. The design is great: I love the way that, once the jaws have closed over the phone, you can lock them in place: it makes it rock solid. Im amazed that something made of metal and with this level of engineering can be made for this price. My previous holder was a similar looking Manfrotto, but this blows it out of the water. Clever design features like several cold shoe mounts make this very usable too.

This is well made and sturdy ,,I did not say in the video that the rubber grips on each side of the clamp are fantastic they will protect your device and never let it slip out ,,,,this unit is worth the investment because all of the different plastic ones that Ive had will all go to the trash when you see this...... And all around winner, Unless youre looking for a rolex.....

There are a lot of no-name cheap brands selling phone tripod mounts. I have one which works but is kind of janky. I decided I wanted something more useful and enjoyable to use, so I took a chance on this one. Well, the build quality is excellent – very solid, well-machined, with soft detents at the 90 degree marks and easy-to-use smooth-turning knobs. Getting the phone into the clamp itself is maybe not perfect as the clamp has a decently strong spring (kind of unnecessary since the clamp has a separate locking knob) but not too annoying. The availability of both standard tripod threads *and* the base working as an arca-swiss-type plate means I can easily attach this to both my regular tripod (which has an arca-swiss-style clamp) and my mini-tripod (which is a screw-type). All in all, I am happy I got it.
