I just received the Pictron Metal Phone Tripod Mount along with the MT extendable tripod and the Ulanzi VI49 light and I must say I could not be more impressed. Amazon recommended that these 3 pieces should be bought together and it is true. Each piece is extraordinarily well made and designed. They seem to be of utmost quality, precisely made and thoughtfully designed.

The materials are great and the mount is solid. However, the phone is virtually free to rotate as you cannot lock the phone in vertical or horizontal mode. HUGE oversight. I am using a setup that requires a thick cable connected to the phone, and any weight will rotate the mount. It is not possible to lock the orientation. Immensely frustrating and seemingly a massive miss.

This device is just what I was looking for within a smartphone, tripod adapter. I have a Samsung S23 Ultra, with a thick outer case. The device fit fine with room to spare. The tilt and roll axes within the adapter, allows for every possible angle to take a photo, in Landscape or Portrait mode.

I rarely am compelled to write a review but this is both extremely well made and overall a very well though our design. Im using this to hold my Google Pixel 7 Pro and even though my phone is large it is able to expand to fit. There are two independent locks that work great to either lock the clamp in place or lock the phones orientation (vertical, horizontal or something in between) and both locks hold firmly. This is better than any accessory you could buy from a camera store.

Lo vi en un video de fotografía en YouTube. Realmente es una excelente adquisición, es muy robusto, lo que evita cualquier tipo de vibración por viento u otros factores al hacer fotografía de naturaleza. La imagen adjunta la tomé utilizando un trípode y este soporte para mi iPhone.

Nicely made out of aluminum, not plastic. Does not flex or bounce when moving with tripod or stabilizer. Really good quality. Definitely recommend.

Got it to replace a mount that came with my Joby mini tripod. Very sturdy, well built and easy to use. Planning on purchasing another one for a mini tripod used for work.
