My Guinea pigs love it but I didn’t even think about all the poop and pee trapped inside. Hard to clean it completely out and dry it too before you put it back in, almost impossible.

My black bear hamster loves the tubes . He’s a little bottom heavy so smaller tubes don’t really work well for him. I havent Had to clean them yet (he’s pretty much litter box trained) so I cant Say about that. Some people said they are too loud ... they are a bit loud opening and closing them but that’s kinda how the mechanism works to be able to retract them. Doesn’t bother me much. Worth it for the space saving quality. They are a little thin so you have to be aware to not bend them the wrong way when closing them . But really , this was the best deal I saw out there, and they serve their purpose .
