Right after I bought my Plantronic headset, we switched over to a softphone system at work. This little adapter let me seemlessly make the transition with my headset from hardline phone to softphone on my laptop.

My second one of these, purchased for my home office because I liked the other so much. Arrived in 3 days, just amazing service for a non-Amazon Prime delivery.

I was using a Plantronics headset plugged directly into my Cisco phone on my desktop. I found that I was using soft-phone functionality on my computer instead and needed a headset to plug into my USB port. My first gut reaction was that I needed to buy a completely new USB based headset. When I found this, I realized that I could remove the Cisco adapter on the end of my Plantronics headset and replace it with this USB adapter.

It worked great

It works. Thats all that matters.

This works great, no issues at all. Using it with a Macbook pro it is plug-and-play.
