in cutter dispenser Was under assumption the it was a slide cutter, which is what I wanted. Wording not clear to me.

I worked in the food industry for years and used this product there. I purchased one for my home and it lasted YEARS! When it ran out I got this on Amazon and I couldn’t be happier. My kitchen isn’t complete without this item. It makes my life easier daily. You just have to know how to use the cutter properly or it makes a mess. Had to teach others how to use it. Once you know how to use the cutter properly you will hover go back to normal supermarket purchased boxes ever again!

I prefer the cutter edge over the slide cutter. Years as a professional chef have shown me that the edge is quicker and more precise. The edge is not as safe, but with a little practice it becomes second nature. You can take plastic wrap off your shopping list for a long time.
