Low RAM, low PPI, old 2-core processor: This thing should be a dog. Its not, though. Its great. Its fast and responsive, the screen is clear, and Pocketbooks software will let you read anything but DRM Amazon and reflow it, too (Perfect for textbooks). In the rare case that something isnt compatible, you can install KoReader, which is compatible with everything else and will still use the devices buttons. Compared to some competitors, it even offers expandable storage and a temperature-adjustable frontlight. If you dont like the buttons on the right side, just flip it over. This is a great device, and I wish I had bought it as soon as it came out. I bought this thing in a pinch when my previous large screen reader suddenly quit responding to inputs. Both devices are 9.6, just big enough to read textbooks and other stuff one might print to a standard-sized piece of paper. Just crop out the white border. 10.3 is becoming more popular, but carrying something around with those dimensions is harder. I have no regrets about this purchase. If youre looking for a large screen reader but dont need to write on the screen (which you still can technically), this is the one. Dont bother looking at the other options that are sometimes hundreds of dollars more.

I bought this ebook as a Christmass gift to myself and must say - it is the best gift for last 10 years. This is my 5th ebook and first one which has EVERYTHING right out of the box. My library id mostly in fb2 format which is not supported by Kindle or Kobo. Pocketbook reads it as native. PDF, RTF, DJVU, DOC, TXT, the other formats I have my books in - read without any issue. The book has only 8Gb internal memory, but it was enough to put there already 1500 files. Plus there is a micro sd card slot for up to 128 Gb which I intend to use soon. Battery works very solid - I spent whole evening yesterday by reading and it didnt even drop charge by 5%. Touch screen is very responsive and scaling fonts is very easy - it is just pleasure to my eyes to set comfortable font. In general it is very good and reliable ebook. I recommend it to anyone who likes to read, you will enjoy and never regret.

I waited for quite a while to upgrade to a new e-reader without Android on it. My old e-reader was an Onyx Boox i86 and this reader is a big upgrade compared to that one. It is fast and responsive, with a great user interface. Im very happy with it so far.

This is a decdnt e-ink reader. The writing on it is terrible, I wouldnt expect to accurately write on it. The buttons are hard to tell what they do, but you could probably just put stickers on the buttons. Pocketbook shouldve really put white stickers instead of being forced to turn on a light.

The almost 10-inch screen lets me read larger type, and still have a decent amount of words on the screen. It sucks, getting old. The touchscreen is a bit sluggish, but you get used to that kind of thing, at my age.

Im a long time Kobo user but wanted to get a larger screen to read graphic novels. Pocketbook Inkpad came highly recommended and Im completely satisfied. Seller sent quickly and packed it well. I love it.
