Bought this for teen grandson for his new iPad. Cover has nice features including the screen protector and seems like a good value. I handed it to him and figured at 17 he could put the case on by himself. While trying to separate the screen protector from the base of the cover, the 2 pieces snap together, he somehow stuck his thumb through the plastic film. Its thin & brittle. It shattered and his thumb poked a hole through it rendering it useless. He fiddled around a few minutes and figured out how to get the top & bottom apart and it appeared he lifted the corner. I left him alone since hes 17. Anyway, he figured out how to get the thing apart without breaking anything else. He was upset because hed been excited about his new tablet and a nice cover for it. Hes just a kid and it was an accident. The cover isnt terribly expensive so I ordered another one for him. It arrived in 2 days. After the original mishap he knew the safe way to separate the screen protector from the base of the case & was able to put the 2nd tablet cover on with no problem. I am telling this so that others will know that the plastic screen protector film is thin, brittle, fragile, & easily broken so you will use care when putting it on your tablet...... The latch & built in easle is nice. We were happy with the product overall.

This is a great product. Got it for my wife’s new IPad and knew she would let the grandchildren play games on it even though we have an older kindle. This thing has saved the IPad so far for MaMa. It’s red color makes it easy to find also. It props up so you can use setting on table top. My wife uses this feature a lot doing her Bible referencing while writing in her work book. Very pleased with this product.

This iPad case fits my 7th gen great. Its very sturdy, has different positions and I always love having a screen protector on my iPad. I was always cautious when my grand babies wanted to use my iPad before but I have no worries as long as this case is on it...*smile* I like that it has a section for my pencil too. I am very happy that I purchased this case. Thanks so very much!

Great case. I love how it also has a screen protector. Goes on and provides complete protection, plus a folding cover to provide impact resistant screen protection. I ended up buying one for my son too

I love the way this looks and I think it is a great product over all my biggest issue is with the way the stand works. Itll probably work great for somebody my biggest issue is that I dont always watch it on a flat surface and it is hard to get it to stand up if it is sitting on a pillow or bed or something like that

Update: this case will NOT stop slipping, and it’s driving me nuts, so I’m going to return it. This case is substantial and seems to provide good protection for my new iPad 8. The one thing that drove me nuts about it was the screen protector plastic - it created rainbow colored distortions all over the screen. I’d remove the screen protector, put it back in the case and it would be corrected - for a short while. I got sick of doing this, and since the case cannot be used without the frame for the screen protector, I just ripped the plastic off the screen protector frame. Voilà. Using the case without the plastic screen protector is much preferable for me. The edges of the screen are still protected by a small bevel, and the iPad body is well protected in the rubberized outer shell. The “infinitely” adjustable stand portion is hit or miss, though. It frequently does not grip and will slide down, changing the viewing angle. But I’ve discovered that the case cover can be used to prop the iPad in different positions fairly easily so it’s not a big deal. Overall this seems to be a nice case. If anything changes, I’ll update my review.

No pencil with case . Led to believe there was a pencil with this very disappointing.
