Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! (Nintendo Switch) (European Version)

> 3 dayThe controls are beyond frustrating. No pro controller, can’t use the Split Pad. Have to use those crappy joy cons, and constantly fall down holes because of the drift. There is no way to weaken Pokémon to make them catchable. Berries are the only way to ease catching, but they are ridiculously rare. I’ve spent 50+ balls on a simple rattata multiple times. I went through 187 ultra balls on articuno and he STILL didn’t catch. I ran out of balls on that Pokémon, and I had hundreds. I’m done.

> 3 dayI bought this through Walmart. Im only giving this one-star for visibility sake as there was only one reason I have not and will not play the game. I didnt realize it until after I already opened the package, but the game is not compatible with the Pro Controller nor dual Joy-Cons. Its only playable with a single Joy-Con, the Pokeball controller, and handheld mode. Playing with a single Joy-Con hurts my hands, Im not going to buy a novelty controller, and I never play in handheld mode.

Greater than one weekone of the worst pokemon games in the main series franchise. skip this and wait for the next time they remake the originals.

> 3 dayI should start off saying I’m biased, I started off playing the originals and still have a working gameboy with curly q light that I hope stays working till I have children so they too can enjoy this world. Now for the review at the time of this writing I’ve got about 20+ hours or so in and it’s great! The graphics are quite pleasing and the game is smooth as butter on a hot July day, my only real complaints (and it’s mostly me being picky) are the interaction with Pokémon Go and being able to catch/ transfer some of those Pokémon into your play through. One it takes quite awhile to progress through the game before you can even do it and second it’s kind of a pain in the rear. My other issue is with the scaling when it comes to riding some of the Pokémon, I received an Arcanine from an in game NPC after answering a series of questions (easy enough) but once I pulled out the Pokémon it covers half of the darn screen! Now I had not connected my switch to a television when dealing with this so it may scale appropriately on a TV or monitor but on the handheld it’s simply way too much. All in all the game is wonderful and brings back many memories and has created more in the process. I wish the best of luck to all fellow trainers!

Greater than one weekI love this game. Having an eevee who is basically every hm move is amazing! The eevee is so cute and so far is soloing every gym without breaking a sweat! Plus the game is a good portal to putting Pokémon from Go into Home, with the few that can be transferred anyways.
