This is an absolute amazing leather bag. Lots of D rings to hook things on or simply make the bag look cool and retro. The smell and texture is awesome. It is made from the most expensive layer of leather. Lots of rich leather and great feeling texture. Gets tons of compliments and stares.

Love it! Very high quality leather. Nice and thick. It is very masculine and I was a little worried because Im a female who wanted a backpack in leather that would accommodate my 15 inch laptop. I put a sparkly purse charm on one of the many ring attachments. Beautiful, awesome bag!!

The bag looks very good, though the smell is quite strong (has this acidic smell; need to air out for days).The design prototype is the from saddleback original classic backpack, so there is a seam, and that seam would irritate by rubbing your lower back (not a big deal for me cuz my clothings would protect me even rubbing happens). The leather is real thick and strong (0.4mm thick quality pull up leather), unlined on the side and some of the pockets. Im actually looking for an unlined leather bag, cuz like boots, you can never wear a hole through unlined leather). Straps are nice and sturdy, 2.5cm wide full grain leather stitched onto cotton strap, hardware looks nice and sturdy (they are not brass though). And Im able to put my water bottle into the side pocket.

This is an awesome bag and leather company as I have the carry on as well. The Straps are very versatile and the leather is firm and high quality.

UPDATE 3/27/2021 : I have had this bag for a couple years now and it’s amazing . This bag has traveled with me on many many trips , meanwhile being used 4 days a week since . I have overloaded this thing , thrown it in trunks , on floors / grass / dirt , shoved in multiple tight storage spaces , etc . It has a beautiful patina but still pretty much brand new . The leather is thick and strong , some areas have become amazingly supple and soft to the touch . Simply in love with this thing . Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this bag . I love love it .
