I have a large and heavy 17 laptop with a large backpack to carry it and all accessories and documents when needed. However, I just purchased a small and lighter laptop to take on vacations, so wanted a smaller leather backpack. As a longtime leather craftsman, I refuse to buy products labeled genuine leather, I only buy items labeled full grain cowhide. This backpack hit all my requirements. I am now using it to take my iPad and a few fun items to my bi-weekly chemotherapy treatments. It carries what I need, such as cords, portable charger, munchies, etc and is very comfortable. My wife will also enjoy the smaller backpack when she volunteers at a charitable organization doing their bookkeeping. If I could change anything about the backpack it would be to make the outside pockets slightly larger. Not in length or width, but wider from front to back. It is difficult to reach in and pull out items stored in them. The large pocket at the top is too narrow (front to back) to hold my extra pair of glasses inside their case, so I have to store the glasses unprotected and be extra careful they dont get crushed. I havent figured out the purpose of the small pocket with the vertical zipper, but I use it for something.

Ive used this backpack to carry my computer and paperwork back and forth from work to home, as well as for a couple of overnight trips. Its very roomy, and is sturdy. They didnt overlook any detail in making this bag. Everything looks and feels high quality.

This pack is great. This review is based on my needs and everyone has different uses for a backpack but from my perspective this is the best pack Ive ever had, for the money of course. There are a lot of very nice packs on the market for $300 to $500 dollars so dont expect to get a free lunch. some people complained about the straps coming off and the company added rivets which is very rare for a company so points for them. If you are carrying heavy weight for miles and miles of rough trial this isnt the pack for you but for work and school its perfect. Things I like about it: It stands up on it is own. Most packs fall over and I find this very convenient. It looks fantastic and is made of very nice leather, full grain but still pliable. The zippers move like butter, no sticking, and made of metal, not plastic. The pockets are perfect size and help organize things so that I dont have to go digging for my keys, wallet, change, aspirin, phone charger... It is light and comfortable, even loaded down I can throw one strap over my shoulder and it doesnt try to slip off. The padded vented back is very comfy. Some people complained that it isnt as sturdy as the old leather back model but if you are ripping this back youre doing something wrong. Its plenty strong and much more comfortable. Its perfect size, I dont like huge bags, especially while traveling, its a fantastic carry-on. It smells awesome and, if youre a fashionista, goes well with everything but a tuxedo. Cons: the padding for the laptop pocket could be thicker but I dont carry my laptop so not a concern. The Velcro patches on the pockets could be larger/ stronger. But the straps add to security so, again, I dont think its an issue as long as you close the straps. I dont need two water bottle pockets and would have liked another zipper pocket instead of two bottle holders. Im not part of this company, Ive just been ripped off and disappointed with products so often I was shocked to get a quality pack and Im giving credit where its due. Ive looked all over the web and you wont find a better bag in this price range.

This bag has been durable and serves all my needs. The bag is a little skinnier than I expected; however, it works.

This Product was packaged very well. This is the second product we purchase from POLARE. We loved the first bag, my girlfriend gifted me for my birthday (POLARE 23.6 Retro leather Duffel Weekender). She wanted a backpack to travel for work so decided we should get from POLARE again. This bag is larger and stronger than we thought. We love the color of this leather and the feel of it. No issues with the zippers! The material in the inside is strong and it is large enough for the work laptop/equipment while traveling. We love the bags we have purchased from POLARE, great material and products.

I dont work for this company but I love bragging on companies that put so much quality in the items they offer. I hear theyre coming out with a garment bag and I just know its gonna be off the charts quality they put in everything they offer. Yaigh I saigh!

Use this every day out in the oilfield and its standing up well. Lots of pockets and fits my 17 inch laptop perfectly.
