They looked new for being open box. It was too wide for my application.

I love the look and sound of this center channel. Some reviewers complained about the grill holes and color, they look good to me- I didnt need to paint the cover as the color was good. I included some pics to show it better.

Looks good, sounds great. Its in-wall, so if youre walls are extra cheap, the sound will be too, but with reasonably constructed walls and thoughtful build/install of the speaker, they sound great when paired with a good quality amp.

I bought one of these as center channel speaker for my 7.1 surround sound system in my basement theater room. It works perfectly.
