That being said, after about 3 (light) uses the seam on the top of the umbrella got several small tears in it and from what I see from some of the reviews, this is a common problem. I am terribly frustrated because this is not a cheap umbrella and I expected it to hold up much better than it has. Not sure I can recommend this to others.

> 24 hourThe penguin is super cute and my 5 year old son loves it! It rained last week so he got to use it at school and got plenty of compliments. Pretty easy to use, but I don’t know how it’ll hold up over time.

> 24 hourAdorable umbrella! We received one that had the stitching coming out on the seem. Returned that one and got a replacement. I’m guessing it was a fluke one cause the one we got as a replacement is awesome. It’s very easy for my 5 year old to open and close. It’s has great coverage for her to keep her dry. She loves the unicorn horn on it. Very cute umbrella.
