I bought this keyboard wanting to get a fairly inexpensive mechanical keyboard it claimed to be hot swappable and I was going to replace the switches but when I tried to take out one of the switches I broke it finding out that the switches were soldered to the main board I thought this was fine and I would just use it as a normal keyboard after all it was only $20, long-term use resulted in five keys not working and it randomly turning off and having to unplug it and plug it back in I would not recommend this product and I would go with something like a RK-61 with hot swappable brown switches

Let me address the only downside of this keyboard immediately: yes, there is a distinct (and to a large extent, intentional) clickety-clack sound the keyboard makes when keys are depressed. It takes a bit of getting used to, and if you work in an environment with other people within earshot, it could disturb them. So if thats a problem, dont buy this keyboard. Otherwise, it is excellent. First of all, it worked perfectly out of the box, unlike the first 60% keyboard I tried. Secondly, the all-important arrow keys are intelligently and ergonomically arranged. The function key that you need to press to access the arrow functionality is right next to the arrow keys making it convenient to hit with your pinky while using the other fingers to arrow around, OR, they can be locked into the arrow function if you prefer. Most importantly, the up arrow is directly above the down arrow, as opposed to using the W-A-S-D keys as arrow keys as many of these keyboards do, where the W for up is a bit to the left of the S for down, which I find super annoying. Back to the keys themselves: as an old-school touch typist, the key feel is the closest Ive ever found to the classic IBM Selectric typewriter, and there is an intentional clicking sound each key makes when it is pressed. This click occurs exactly when the key is depressed to the point of activation, and is meant to give audible feedback. If youve ever fumbled a keystroke and not been sure if you hit it or not, with this keyboard you can tell by the click. So I really like this keyboard, recognizing that its a bit idiosyncratic and it may not be for everyone. But it is well designed and good quality, and saves me a lot of desktop space, so I gave it five stars.

This is a $20 mechanical keyboard, which is cheap if you want a keyboard with a nice responsive feel and you dont really need any fancy software features. 60% size is great for travel. There is no driver to customize the keyboard effects from your computer screen, but you can control it a little with function keys. I see a lot of complaints that the keyboard is not hot swappable. I guess they have changed the product description and it now says not hot swappable. This isnt a great keyboard, but for the $20 price, I am happy with functionality and quality.

I got this for $18 after coupon. $18 for a 60% mech? Uhhh, yeah. If you’re expecting a top of the line gaming keyboard keep looking. However this is right on par with the $60-75 competitors. Good response, tactile and while the lights aren’t customizable I don’t care for the price of a Papa John’s pizza.

Bought this as a super cheap keyboard for a server PC because I cannot stand the feel of membrane mush. While this keyboard meets the mechanical bar, it is a VERY budget keyboard and it shows. The board itself is all plastic, and while the original description when I bought it was that it was hotswappable, it has since been changed to reflect that it is not. The all plastic build means that the board is incredibly light, and it will feel flimsy or fragile because of this. The RGB is not true RGB, the lighting is fixed color lighting that can either turn on or off a single color. All this being said, the keyboard works. It does what keyboards are supposed to do, but if you are looking for a high end keyboard at a low end price, then this is not the board for you. If you are looking for something cheap that will get the job done while being inexpensive and dont care about features, look no further.

The gaming keyboard is good but the only down side is it’s mainly plastic. I could easily snap it in half but overall it’s a good keyboard.

Dont think your getting top of the line keyboard quality. Its loud and feels cheap. But its fast and responsive.

Bought this to use with the steam deck jsaux docking station which works for playing in a larger tv, and aside from a few minor issues such as arrows and other keys sharing the same key being changed with the FN key, it’s a good cheap keyboard for traveling with the steam deck!
