I bought this for the night stand in a spare bedroom (will be buying more!). My 6 year nephew loved it for the cooling air and also the light and both helped him relax and fall asleep. I found it effective and easy to fall asleep to. Putting the ice on top is easy and the item feels secure against leaks. The huge benefit has been using it for my senior dog and cat who spend a lot of time in their beds and of course have trouble in the heat. They have both done well having the fan next to their beds when I leave for work and I feel better about their safety and comfort while I am gone. This will not fall in them! I am happy to recommend this for pets and for bedrooms. My husband will also put it on the coffee table while he is on the couch watching tv. Maybe everyone in the family needs one!

My A/C in my car broke and they wanted $2K to fix it. I bought this as a temporary fix to that problem. It works as well as I expected considering. On the really hot days it is not the best but it was cheaper than $2k.

I was looking for an evaporative fan and Amazon suggested this one to me. Its perfect for my bedroom and keeps me cooler at night. I live in a house that only has a window AC unit in the kitchen, which unfortunately doesnt cool the bedrooms at night. I load this fan up with ice and cold water before I go to bed and it keeps me cool all night until well into the morning before it runs out of water. It was well worth the money!

Its feature of diffuseing microvapors into the air that spray in a manner that never produces to much wetness is really cool. I mean I can draw a picture right in front of it while in cloud setting and its very soothing and wont affect my paper at all. Its a really cool fan.

I needed a small evaporative cooler to put next to my bed to cut down electricity. I bought several coolers in range $30-$45 and each had positive and negative features so that I had to return them. One had a small container, one leaked, some were too noisy, one’s wind blow was not powerful enough, and for most of them, the lid wasn’t sealed when closed. Finally, I bought this with discount. It had large container, the wind blow was better than others, it has a remote which most of others didn’t, the lid gets sealed. Noise level is also low for the wind power. The item I received had two problems so I ordered a replacement which didn’t have those problems. Now I’m satisfied and happy because I think received an item which has all features I wanted with a very good price. Those who say it doesn’t cool at all: You expect too much from a water-based cooler. It’s not an ac. No this-size evaporative cooler can satisfy your needs. You need either a very large evaporative cooler or a small ac. It makes cool but not that much. You need to be near and in front of it. Be in front of it for a while when your room is not warm or cold. You would definitely turn it off because it would get too cold for you. You definitely need an ac for those areas above 85 degrees. Set your ac to maximum tolerable temperature and use this to do the rest. This way you use least electricity and will be comfortable enough.

Well when i first ordered it i was skeptical on how good it would do because of the size. When we got it and followed the instructions ( very easy to understand) and turned it on, we were amazed on how good it worked, i have it in my office and it really does a fantastic job, and last a long time. I really am amazed on how good it works. I have told all my friends and family about it. My brother got his last week and has it in his bedroom, he loves how quiet and well it works. This is definitely useful during 70-80 temps. We used it while camping in a small tent trailer. It did provide airflow and some relief from the 90+ temps we were in, however it is more of a personal size. I will be purchasing something to better our needs while camping, but will be keeping this as well.
