> 24 hourThis air conditioner fan is better than I imagined, and it blows out very cool air. The greatest benefit is that it saves a lot more energy compared to a regular air conditioner. I really like it. Xd

> 24 hourThis is a very interesting design that I think is pretty unique even comparing it to similar items on Amazon. Unlike many other evaporative coolers that utilize a pump to pump water from the bottom to the top and allow gravity to wet the inner curtain, this item uses an atomizer with a fan to spray a very fine mist over the curtain directly from the top. The mist also exits the fan similar to a misting fan. I find this to be quite innovative because it allows such a small fan to work quite effectively, cooling the temperature around you in both ways: 1) The fan forces air through the wet inner curtain which evaporates some of the moisture off it (the water absorbs some of the heat when it evaporates in an endothermic reaction). 2) The fan forces the fine mist to exit the fan which then evaporates quickly. This greatly increases the area of evaporation which cools the nearby area quicker than your standard evaporative cooler. If the fan is directed toward you and your skin, it leads to an increased sense of coolness because the fine mist is evaporating off your skin directly. You can say this is very similar to those bigger, commercial evaporative coolers that you see at restaurants, only much smaller and portable. Unlike my standard tower evaporative cooler which draws about 60w of power, this draws slightly over 1w of power (on low fan + mist turned off) and I was able to power it with my laptops USB port without any issues. Even though its using much less power, the air feels much cooler because the fan is much closer to you, as well the mist itself is adding to the cooling power of the fan. Heres what I think about the other aspects of the fan: Fan: On the low fan speed, the fan is rather quiet but audible. Even on the lowest setting, the wind is adequate for cooling and most times I usually leave it on the lowest setting since the fan is quite close to me (and its quite effective even on the lowest setting). On higher fan speeds, it sounds more like an old desktop fan thats running but closer to you. It still isnt too noisy and does not produce any annoying whines or squeals. Atomizer/Mister: This is where I think they did a very good job in terms of the design. Despite not heeding the manufacturers advice to use tap water (I used reverse osmosis water instead, which you can consider pure water), there werent any condensation issues or anything getting wet nearby. Unlike other fans that have their misters outside, this one had theirs inside. This makes a big difference in terms of where excess droplets land because this item catches the excess moisture in a drain pan versus others that will create a puddle of water nearby on your desk/table. Drain Pan: The drain pan itself is also quite interesting because the instruction tells you to empty the drain pan every 4 hours when you are using the mister (there is a drain hole in the back with a silicone plug that you can take out to drain it if you really want to). However, I find this to be unnecessary because the inner curtain actually sits all the way down into the drain pan container. What this means is that turning off the mister and just keeping the fan on will evaporate the moisture on the top portion of the curtain, which wicks the moisture upward as the curtain dries. You will find that running the fan even only for 30 mins is enough to dry up 1/5 of the drain pans volume. If you look close enough, you can actually see some water vapor coming off even when the mist function is completely turned off. With time, the drain pan is completely dried aside from a few remaining drops of water that isnt directly in contact with the curtain. Color LED / Water Indicator: I was actually afraid that the LED on this would be too bright. Luckily, they are actually quite dim and I believe the purpose of this is to allow you to see the water indicator on the side of the fan. You can turn off the LED if you so desire, as it is not mandatory to have it stay on. Even without the LED light, the indicator can still be seen somewhat easily, although you may have to take a closer peek. Water Container: The top container has a very wide opening for water. I had no problems with pouring water directly from a 1-gallon milk jug directly to the top of the container. I also havent had any issues with spills while carrying this unit around with the top cap closed. Water Usage: When full, the water volume gives you about 4 hours of misting time before needing a refill. As mentioned previously, portions of the water get drained into the drain pan below but get recycled through the wet curtain inside as it dries (which also cools the air). Positioning/ Wind Directionality: There is a small lever that allows you to manually control the vertical positioning of the fan/mist. There isnt any horizontal or oscillation adjustment, although you can physically rotate the fan. The fan itself works ok standing by itself on the table, although the wind doesnt really hit you head-on. Raising the fans height with items (for me I used a roll of tape and a toilet paper roll) gave me the perfect height that delivers a better cooling experience. Power: As mentioned previously, this fan uses very little power. Here are the approximate powers drawn from the USB port: Low: 1.3w, Med: 1.8w, High: 2.6w, Highest: 3.7w Mister Low: +1.8w, High: +3w LED Light: +0.05w Even with everything turned up to the highest, a small 10k power pack should be able to power it for more than 4 hours. If you were to use it on low + low mist, you can easily get more than 9 hours of power through that pack. Just the fan alone can probably run close to a day continuously. Specific notes: Despite the name which says this is an air conditioner - it actually isnt one. Instead, this is a personal evaporative/swamp cooler with a misting fan. Because of that, you do not want to buy this item if: a) You want something to place in your room to lower the temperature of the entire room -- this fan is really for personal comfort and isnt designed to drop the temperature of your room (i.e. you have to place the fan fairly close to you for it to work effectively.) b) You live in a place with high humidity -- if you are using this item to reduce your use of your AC (with indoor temperatures closer to 80F), your indoor humidity probably should not go beyond 65% for this to be effective (note that the AC can help you remove some of the humidity that this fan creates). If you are using this item in lieu of the AC (with indoor temperatures closer to 90-95F), then your ideal humidity level ought to be closer to 15-25%. You will barely get any relief (or may even make it worse) if you live in a high temperature, high humidity environment and you add this fan to the mix. The lower the humidity, the cooler the fan will feel, although adding crushed ice to the top box will help you enhance this effect.

> 24 hourI recently purchased this mini portable air conditioner and it has been a game-changer for me. This compact device is perfect for small spaces, and its easy to move around from room to room. The setup was a breeze, and I had it up and running in no time. Overall, I highly recommend the mini portable air conditioner to anyone who needs a quick and easy way to cool down their living space. Its affordable, efficient, and convenient - what more could you ask for?

> 24 hourIt works okay. It’s a lot smaller than I expected it to be, and the water/ice compartment needs to be refilled every 2-3 hours, so if you plan on using it overnight, it won’t keep the room cold for too long.

> 24 hourIt is very portable and convenient. It is perfect to put in my bedroom and cool down. You can turn on and off at any time , no worry to mess the machine. It is cheap and value to get it .

> 24 hourWhile this is smaller than expected, dont let its appearance deceive you. It packs quite a heavy punch in terms of air coolness. I loaded the machine with some cod water, and felt a refreshing most. However, the downside to this is still due to its size. The water supply must be replaced multiple times in a day. Also the initial coldness of the water has a huge impact on the quality. Loading it up with some icy water ensures the coldest result.

> 24 hourThis mini Air conditioner works better than the one that I purchased earlier. It is a nice desk fan and I absolutely love it. Will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a mini AC.

> 24 hourMy item arrived wet which should’ve been my clue. Buttons are EXTREMELY hard to see, although I will admit they are nicely touch sensitive. Filled the thing ice and water and turned it on. I could see a very fine mist coming out which was nice but it was really not any cooler than a fan. Returned the item, don’t waste your time. Also didn’t come with cord. Obviously this was a returned item that just got reshipped out.

> 24 hourThis cooler is excellent for small places. Since summer has started, my room gets very hot during the days. The AC helps but this cooler is better. It lowers the room temperature within an hour of running. I have been using it to cool my room ever since I ordered it and will be ordering one more for my brother whose room also gets seriously hot these days.

> 24 hourThis is a nice fan. I like how it is able to spray water mist to make the air even cooler. If is especially nice in the summer because it blows air that is colder than regular fans. I would definitely recommend buying this fan.
