It charges quickly, and can hold a charge for at least a few hours of use on high. I am excited to use it next month when I spend a day at the Ren Faire, outside all day, and 5 months pregnant. > 24 hourThis fan is easy to attach to the upper bunk bed. Due to the height of the bed, a ceiling fan is not such a great idea. The legs of this fan are easy to wrap around and hold onto the post of the beds. I didnt realize it has a light on it as well which can be operated separately from the fan.
