Greater than one weekThis projector creates a very clear image at a large size. Im very happy with it. Wish it was a bit brighter for use in the day, but for this price Im not worried about that. Remote works great as well.

> 3 dayExperience the drive-in in your own backyard! Super easy to set up and works with our DVD player and Amazon firestick. We used it to stream the Superbowl, movie nights with the kids, and date nights for my wife and I. Highly recommended!

> 3 dayIt will need to be dark to use this. Picture quality is great. We played the World Series game for our neighborhood and got no complaints! The built in sound is NOT sufficient outdoors. Plan to use a speaker!

12-06-2025My very old movie projector weighed a ton. It was big and bulky and a pain to store, then pull out to use. I have replaced the bulb several times. Its capabilities were limited. Let’s say none! Time to get a new projector and recycle the old one. There are many candidates on the market. I did some basic research using simple criteria. The unit had to be small, lightweight, modern to handle new video formats, and have multiple input sources. At a minimum it had to provide for HDMI, AV, USB, and some form of Wi-Fi/Bluetooth. Quality sound was also important. After some looking, I chose the Mooka Movie Projector. I was attracted to its wide range of capabilities in a small footprint and lightweight. An attractive, functional carrying case and remote control are included. Since my old projector screen was broken, I used a white wall to check out the unit. So, some of the pics might not be as sharp as if I used a real screen. And yes, the room should be dark. Setup was easy. It has an adjustable foot. The menu is easy to understand but I did need to use the user manual for some options and instructions. I tried several methods to connect to the projector. First, I connected my DVD player via HDMI. I only needed to adjust the focus and select HDMI as a source. And the movie played. Next, I used my iPhone with Airplay. I tried connecting both through my router and without my router. It took me a little while to figure out the screen mirroring. But both methods worked well, and I was able to display pictures and videos. One nice feature is that the unit has a powered USB OUT 5v jack. So, I was able to power my iPhone while playing the video. I was surprised by the quality of the sound for small speakers. I most likely will attach the unit to my sound bar via the phone jack. At first, I had some difficulty using a USB thumb drive. We are doing a 35 mm slide conversion project, converting the film to JPG images. My drive had several new images and I decided to try the projector. I was unable to view the drive contents. My drive was in ExFAT format, and the projector could not read it. Once I converted to FAT32, it worked great. Overall, this is a great little unit. It has multiple input sources, can display many densities (up to 1920x1080), and has a sharp picture. The sound quality is very good for a small unit. Most important to me is the ability to stream off my iPhone. Great value. I need to go buy a new screen!

Greater than one weekHave been trying this out for various usage. This will be good for presentations for work, but has its usefulness for home - think backyard outdoor night screening or if you have a movie night with the family... Set up is pretty easy - I used my iPhone and connected to the projector - it has its own network ID and I used screen mirroring. I also connected the projector to my home network - the instructions say you get the best performance from the projector and used screen mirroring from my Iphone. Picture quality is pretty good - I projected against a blank wall in my living room. I didnt realize that you cant project / screen mirror via network Netflix, Prime, or Hulu due to copyright - I asked their support on why I couldnt get it to work and they told me all projectors will have this issue. If you use an Iphone to HDMI adapter then it will work as the Projector has an HDMI connection or you can also use a firestick or laptop. Not a show stopper as I have a laptop and can get the HDMI adapter. Sound quality isnt bad for a little projector but have the right expectations. Overall great little projector - its lightweight, super simple to set up, and reasonably priced.
