I purchased this for my fiancé who is a manager at a landscaping firm. He works outside, in the Florida sun/heat for 14 hours a day....6 days a week. This works SOOOOOO well!!!!! He loves it!!!!!!! Blows air nice and strong. If you’re not sweating and you’re in a hot environment then it doesn’t feel cool. It just feels like air blowing. You either need to sweat or mist water on you to feel cold. The device looks good while wearing it. Not geriatric at all. Has 3 levels of air flow. All very strong. Overall I’m pleased.

The fan is louder than I’d like it to be. Also where it hits the back of your neck it’s designed in such a way that it blocks the air flow. That is where you need the air the most.

I wanted to use this for walking outside, and I cant tell the difference with it on and off. Its now powerful enough. I saw some people saying it keeps the bugs away, and it does not. If youre sitting or standing in a hot building, this will work great.

I naturally run hot, and have a tendency to sweat as a result. As soon as I feel myself getting warm I turn it on, and regulates my temperature. I would say its no match for an extremely hot day.
