The printer is easy to setup, quick to use, and prints very nicely. However, the paper needed is unique, so regular paper will not work. It is “thermal paper” and comes in rolls instead of sheet..

Ive tried (and been using) several models of portable printers from other brands. I actually requested this one out of curiosity because Ive never tried this brand before (HPRT is one of the portable ones Ive been using the most). I actually had a low expectation, and this one definitely exceeded such expectation. Again, if this is the first time you are shopping for the portable thermal printer, please know this type of printer is not suitable to replace your home printer for bulk printing ! This one is a great option for people who needs the printer on the go for personal or business purposes. It does give you a peace of mind just in case you need it while you are on business trip or vacation. Not to heavy or huge to carry it with you in the suitcase. The performance is as good as any other portable printers Ive tried as well. As the price has dropped about $50 since it came out, this one is a good deal in terms of overall quality vs price as well as in comparison to other similar printers on Amazon :) Ive tried several times over the last month, and I can honestly say this one is a great option to consider for a portable printer !

Every single time I try to print some thing from my phone it has a difficult time finding the printer. My iPhone never recognizes it, and when I finally do get it to print some thing from my phone, I can’t manage the size of the print, so it’s either really tiny or really large. Really not happy with the fact that I spent so much money on such a crappy product!!!

Okay but quality too light and does not print all lines on paper. Will do in a pinch. The quality is why I gave it 3**.

This printer works well for me as I need to bring it with me back and forth from my office to my home office in case I need to print something. The compact design makes it super easy for me to transport it back and forth, and the Bluetooth connectivity allows me to print items on demand, such as invoices or receipts if needed and faxing them over to whoever needed the copy. The mobility and ability to print items directly from my phone instead of having to head to an office or connect my laptop is super convenient! I did not have any issues with getting this product set up, and I was able to print my first few copies within 5 minutes of it arriving. The first few prints had some quality issues, but this is typical with printers, and afterwards I have had great quality prints with no issues since. The battery lasts a long time between charges, and the peace of mind this provides me when I am on the go and need a document printed is super valuable.

I love this travel printer! It’s easy to use right from your phone via the app. I used it to print a file from my email and it’s very useful for working on-site or in the go. It’s light-weight and prints fast. It also brings a new duster bag for transport and a free flash drive which is cool. It brought a few sample sheets of paper to test. Will have to order some more. Buy it!

I just needed something fast and easy to print off a few emails. I didnt realize thermal paper is like fax paper and the printed copy is like a fax, but in my case thats just fine. I had it working in 5 minutes and 5 minutes later I had my copies and I had it all put away. Perfect for my needs.

There have been plenty of times that I have needed to print something out while on the go. Unfortunately, those times are usually for some sort of legal document. Something that needs to be signed. Using both ball point pen and gel pen, the signatures on my test sheets did not look all that good. However, that is probably a problem native to the thermal paper. The printer itself is a nice solid design and was able to handle both continuous feed paper, as well as individual sheets. I was able to print both from my phone using the suggested application and my computer. The instructions were easy to follow and I did not have to do much troubleshooting at all on my Windows 11 laptop. Print quality. I am not all that impressed. The DPI settings out of the box appear to be too low. The printing reminds me more of an old dot matrix style over the current laser or ink printings. Being thermal, there should be some quality loss, but I have used thermal printers before in the form of label makers from a very popular brand and those come out looking like high quality. Just look at the shipping label on your closest Amazon box, that is probably a thermal printing. That label has better quality than this machine. I will keep playing with the settings to see if I can improve on the performance. It will be a useful tool in my toolbox, but not the results I was hoping for.

It was described as a thermal printer and works as it should. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it was also referred to as a tattoo stencil printer and it really lacks performance there. It prints ok on stencil paper but careful not to print too much black at a time. Print outlines and dots if possible otherwise it will overheat and cause jamming issues. Avoid printing past medium setting, dark tends to jam. If your printing on stencil paper make sure you remove the onion sheet, the yellow sheet has a tare away area so remove it! Make sure the white page is facing up! Over all it works great. If you’re a tattoo artist, it works but don’t over heat it. Print 3-4 sheets max before jams ( depending on the designs of course) Let it cool and then continue. It prints small lines great, but large fields of black will cause jamming. Could be a potential daily, but not in a busy street shop environment. As a portable thermal printer with its dedicated thermal paper it prints well. Wish it had a higher dpi, other same models say is 200 dpi but that’s probably only on regular thermal paper. As a veteran of 28 years I’d recommend buying one or two as a backup.
