> 3 dayThis is a cool little projector. Once I figured out the remote, it connected to wifi easily. Was nice to be able to start using right away without having to connect anything else to it. The built-in speakers worked well, so nice to have everything in a convenient package. There are a few cons: no HDMI input, so you have to have an internet connection, no control buttons on the projector - have to use the remote which is is cheap and sporadically did not work. Once I figured it out it wasnt too bad to navigate, and I couldnt find a brightness setting. Other than that it worked really well for what it was and had a good picture. The tripod was nice - easy to adjust and helped me get the picture where I wanted it.

> 3 daySuper compact but its great quality for the price. Has built in speakers and apps. Hooked my android without any special cords,or needed to download anything to my phone. Put on YouTube for my daughter she loved it.

> 3 dayRegardless of whether you use 5G or 2G, the video stuttering is terrible. Doesn’t matter what you are viewing. All apps were updated. Mirroring doesn’t connect properly and often results in an error. Originally I was excited after reading some of the reviews, but from what I can tell I’m wondering about those reviews. Yes, it looks cute. Price was good when I got it. But the lamp is not bright and requires total darkness. Picture is not sharp and the stuttering no matter 2G or 5G makes watching anything impossible. Fan is also far too loud. I’ll try a factory reset and fresh install but sadly I think this little cube will be going back. It’s a pity.

22-11-2024I bought this being a bit skeptical since electronics can be so fickle. But my neighbors daughter loved it and so did my teenage son who travels a lot. It’s is the perfect Travel size to fit in a duffle or carry on without alot of fuss. Only drawback is the options of colors. The strap is pink with no other masculine options

> 3 dayLet me start off by saying this is one of the cutest smart projectors I have seen on the market. It has a very small footprint and neat box-like design with included handle for moving it about. Honestly, I did not expect much and thought I purchased a gimmicky projector that would be okay at best. I was wrong. This is my honest review of the Sainyer X8 TV Smart Projector. (Amazon retail $129.99 - Currently on sale for $67.99 as of this review) Whats in the box? You get the projector, remote, tripod stand, power cable, and the user guide. The stand is universal and can be used with other small projectors that have the threaded mounting point. The remote is similar to other small projectors and is nothing special and works by infrared. However, it works without issue. The user manual is small but detailed. However, when in the smart apps, the weather is noted in Celsius and I could not find how to change to Fahrenheit as it is not mentioned in the user manual. The power cable is about 3-4ft long or so. Specifications (Per Sainyer user guide and advertisement): Product name: Video Projector, Size: 119mm,119mm,147mm, Display: LCD, Light source: LED, Focusing method: Manually adjust(+-45 degrees), Keystone: +- 45 degrees Digital correction, Screen Ratio: 4:3/16:9, LED lifespan: 50,000 hours, Native Resolution: 720P (Max resolution - Full HD 1080P), Contrast Ratio: 8000:1, Projection Size: 40-200 inch, Speaker: 2 (5W), Total Power: 50W, Power Voltage: DC 19V-2. 5A(50-60Hz. WiFi: 2g and 5g, NOTE: This projector claimed brightness is 8500 Lumens - Translate to 200 ANSI Lumens noted in the advertisement on Amazon. Personal note through experience - the claimed 200 ANSI lumens is pretty accurate and you should alway look for rated ANSI lumens, not brightness claims. If the projector does not advertise the ANSI lumen, there is a conversion for Brightness to ANSI lumens that can be easily found on the internet. The projector: This smart projector blew me away. I was not expecting anything exciting but when I turned it on, the projector displays these colored icons on the screen as its booting up. They are colorful and change shape. They are fun to look at and is far better than the blue screen a lot of other projectors display when first turning them on. I initially set this projector up on my kitchen counter and projected to my family room wall. Distance to wall is approximately 20-25ft. To my surprise, I was able to adjust the focus to display a clear massive image onto the wall. That is impressive. The colors are vibrant and bright. Since I was only trying to learn how the smart system operated, I did not set it up on my 200 screen but based on what I saw in my family room wall, I knew it would look fantastic. The smart system was responsive and has plenty of applications to choose from. Navigating the apps is easy and directions onscreen are easily understandable. I logged into my YouTube channel and also into my Netflix account just to try some simple operations. The images were bright and in focus. One thing to note as I was trying to set everything up, this projector has trapezoidal correction app. I have not seen this option on other projectors in this price point. The trapezoidal correction works similar to how you would adjust angles. On a manual projector, there is a knob that allows for some degree. However, the manual adjuster cannot adjust if the projector is slight off angle left to right, only up/down. The trapezoidal correction is an application and you can adjust to an extreme angle up/down/right/left. You can offset the angle in numerous ways to ensure the image not only fits your screen dimensions but also adjust to other angles to ensure the picture is in focus. Once I had the image perfect to my wall I streamed a movie. The images were very good, clear, bright. The audio, due to the small design was just okay. However, you can add external audio via the AV jack on the side of the unit. I highly recommend this projector for the smart features, cute design, and ease of use. This projector is not bright enough to display in a bright room. However, in dark rooms, this projector is great at a great price point. I plan to stream movie this evening on my 200 screen. If anything occurs that changes my review, I will edit my posting.
