I started looking for something similar to a $65 item recommended on a travel hacks sight. I found this and it appears to be so similar (or maybe identical) for $20. It is well worth it! I don’t use it exactly as it is intended. I am an atypical 72-year-old female traveler that uses one carry-on bag if at all possible. I often travel internationally and stay for months on end with one bag. Therefore, I have to carry bulky things other travelers would make fun of like my electric toothbrush, my small two hot roller set-up, vitamins galore, etc. I pay attention and buy super small gadgets whenever possible. I have a basic brilliant 4-way stretch (think swimsuit material), lightweight, wash in the sink, dry by morning wardrobe with brightly colored scarves and mesh tops. That said, I have almost no room in my bag for clothing after my months-worth of accoutrements are packed. Therefore, me adding this heavy bulky packed with clothing roll would be ridiculously impossible. I find my virtually wrinkle free fabric wardrobe is best made tiny by using space (vacuum) bags to produce a small flat, dense profile I lay on top of all my other items just before I zip. I do not roll my clothes like so many others. The folded bandeau dresses and tops, a long slip for sleeping in, a shawl, and even a jacket make a super tiny package of so many items in space bags. But I found on a long trip to Argentina and even to my son’s house for several months that when I unpack my clothes, they are difficult to manage at any destination. My toiletry roll, electronics bag, and supplement bag are easily managed but I have to pick up all my black base dresses to see which is which. Clothes are all over the bed then piled back into the suitcase. It can be a mess! My intention is to pack this flat at the bottom of my rolling carry-on and take it out to hang it when I open my vacuum bag at any destination for organizing clothes for the duration of my stay at each location. Each stop is typically a week minimum before moving on to another hostel or hotel in another city in the region. It is a little heavy but my bag is always so underweight that it won’t cause a problem.

This is perfect for compact storage of your clothes while camping or overlanding. Keeps things organized in a small space without having to unpack. The hook is small for normal closet bars but perfect to hang inside a tent.
