Greater than one weekTerrible splash guard. Every time my 2yo son’s pee hit the guard pee splashed left and right of the “open” style guard. The top of toilet seat under the potty chair was soaked with urine and so was under the toilet seat. It appears that urine hits the flat surface and escapes out of the open sides making a HUGE MESS! Only used it a handful of times and unfortunately I threw away the packaging plus I’m not sure you can return an item like this or I would. I had high hopes for this chair but I’ll stick to the low frills ones I’ve got.

Greater than one weekIt kind of works. Using it for potty training my 2 yr old son, it does block most of the pee, but it tends to come out from under the seat getting his pants wet. I have made it as tight as I can, but that doesn’t seem to make a difference. Not a deal breaker for me, but that’s why I gave it 3 stars.

> 3 dayMy 16 month has been using this for 5 months successfully pooping. He pees too but does wet diapers. He likes holding on to the handles and adjusting his body. The pee guard for boys is a necessity! Occasionally if angled a certain way his pee will go in the space between toilet and this seat cover (under the pee guard) and drip down toilet. Cleaning is very easy. We rinse it down every other day which helps. The velcro part is getting worn and dirty which can be expected with velcro.

> 3 dayWe ended up not using this product because it did not fit our toilet. I am sure its a great product if it fits your toilet so make sure you take some measurements before buying.

> 3 dayI search high a low for a good seat for a boy and this really works to stop the over shoot while potty training. It is very easy to clean. It does not perfectly fit our seat (round) but fits good enough to be secure. Know that because of this it is marking up the seat, this if fine with us because this seat is cheap and we were going to replace it after and got ink on it anyway...but it could ruin an expensive seat it did not fit.

> 3 daySo I went with the more expensive potty seat thinking I was tired of the cheap ones not fitting and not having the cover for the boys. It fits my oval toilet fine and is very comfortable n I like the handle but cleaning is a absolute joke! Every time I take it off my toilet I have wipe my toilet seat off. To the boys shield works great but the way they made it Pee gets behind it and in all sorts of places! It’s such a stupid idea and soo hard to clean! If they changed that part it would be a 5 start toilet seat but it’s such a pain to clean n the Pee gets every where that I wouldn’t give it more then 3 stars. The cleaning is that bad and of corse it stinks after a day if you don’t clean it.

> 3 dayThis is not our first potty seat but definitely the best! Pros: Doesn’t slide Rubber strips on bottom (to help with sliding) Has handles Splash guard Seems comfortable Comes in white Removed easily Cons: A little pricey ($12-$15 seems more appropriate) My 3 year old is able to get on the potty herself now with a step stool. She wants to do it herself plus sometimes she needs to if I’m busy changing her sisters diaper or any number of other things. She can grab onto the handles and lower herself down. It doesn’t slip and slide around like the other ones. Some of them even fell in the potty. The splash guard is great too since she likes to watch the “action” down there since it is new to her. She has only been using the potty for a few weeks now. The cushion is removable for cleaning. It’s nice that it comes in white. The other colors are cute, but sometimes you just want kids stuff to blend in. It comes off easily when adults need to use the potty.

Greater than one weekIt’s very comfortable as my 3 yr old son will sit on it for a while when trying to poop. He can climb up and get down (w/ help of step stool) on his own thanks to the handles. It definitely is sturdy and he pushes down on handles to get on/ off and it stayed in place with little movement. he likes it better then the other ones we tried. We actually bought two - one for his bedroom and one for the main one off the kitchen. The others he doesn’t care for we moved into other bathrooms he barely goes into since he didn’t care for them as much.
