> 3 dayI’m planning to travel overseas in summer and I don’t want to bring too many luggages. I’m struggling with using a duffel bag as a back up luggage or not, then I bumped into this bag. The size of this bag looks like a bigger backpack, but the functions are much more than a backpack. There are so many storage inside, it even provides extra bags to organize your objects. When it is folded, the size is like couple of T shirts or jeans stacked together, so it won’t take up too much luggage space. Everything has its own storage area even the shoulder straps, so the straps won’t hang around if you don’t use it. I think this bag has considered all the details I need while traveling, great I didn’t choose the duffel bag. For the price, it offers more versatilities than traditional backpack.

07-06-2025The Powaiter Carry-on Travel backpack is all business. It looks professional and is designed to organize and meet all of your packing needs. I love how it opens up flat like a suitcase. When you unzip the main compartment, youll see the top side has two same-sized zippered compartments -- one mesh and one waterproof. The main compartment meanwhile has a small zippered pocket for valuables and a zippered pocket where you can put a power bank to connect with a cord that leads to a USB port on the outside of the backpack for easy phone charging. The main compartment holds the 3 packing cubes and shoe bag that comes with the backpack (*note -- these are not compression bags). It should be enough space for up to a 2 or 3 day trip depending on how you tend to pack. You can expand the size of the main compartment by unzipping one of the outside zippers. The front of the backpack features a smaller compartment that has a dedicated space for a laptop and slots for pens and a phone, and a larger and a smaller zippered pocket for valuables. Theres also two zippered pockets on the outside of the front of the backpack and one zippered pocket on the bottom third of the back of the bag. So many secure pockets! Theres a side pocket for a water bottle, a strap for putting around a luggage handle and adjustable buckles to compress the main compartment and make it less bulky. The backpack can also convert to a duffel by stowing the straps away in a zippered pocket in the back and using the side handle. In terms of comfort, the back of the backpack is padded and has breathable mesh. The shoulder straps are wide and cushioned and there is a chest strap to keep the backpack from swaying. While full of really smart features, the backpack is missing two things I wish it had: a waist belt to keep the weight off your shoulders and at least one locking zipper to keep a wallet extra secure. When I packed for a 3-day trip, the backpack weighed about 17 pounds. My pet peeve when it comes to traveling is having sore shoulders from too heavy of a bag. The Powaiter carry-on backpack was comfortable enough going through an airport. However I wouldnt want to wear it for hours on end.

06-06-2025There are so many features and so much space in this backpack / weekend suitcase yet it is much lighter and not as bulky as I imagined it would be! You’ll spend several minutes exploring all the nooks and crannies of this! So many places to keep items secure and safe, including a laptop, as well as everything you’d need for a weekend getaway. I can’t wait to travel with this! It also looks great and seems quite durable. So far, there’s nothing I can think of to change or add, the designers already thought of everything! Happy with this as I’d imagine any traveler would be!

> 3 dayLooks nice and seems well built but I can’t seem to find anchor points for the two shoulder straps. I’ve used the clips for the cinch straps but I expect to find clips dedicated for the shoulder straps. No instructions were provided, but the extra bags for organizing are a nice bonus.

> 3 dayI purchased another 40L backpack before and had to replace. This one seems more durable. Excited to put to use.

Greater than one weekI really like travel backpacks to use as carry-on bags. The design enables you to fit a lot and because you can wear it on your back it is easier to carry through crowded airports even when its full and kind of heavy than a small wheeled suitcase. The color of this is also really nice - a medium grey that works well for both business travel and personal use.

> 3 dayThis is the perfect backpack for a short trip and to carry-on the plane or train with you. The bag seems to be well made with many compartments and places to store things in an organized way in the many zippered compartments. There are so many compartments I am not sure I found them all yet! LOL. The bag has a nice appearance which would fit into a professional office or for business travel, not like a cheap bag. This is not a hiking or overnight camping style backpack but is meant for the professional or mature student needs. I do wish the shoulder straps were a little larger as I am a x-large male, but I cannot actually complain about anything regarding the construction or appearance of this bag.

> 3 dayMy number one downside about this bag is actually a feature: there are a *lot* of bags, zippers, clasps, mesh pouches, buckles, velcro latches, secret compartments, loops, straps and various other features. Its so feature rich Im overwhelmed; the stock photos undersell it all. I do get excited about the impressive amount of flexibility and versatility, but I--myself--just dont have an obvious use case for each and every one of these nooks and crannies. To meet the needs of a wide variety of people, though, this makes for a good product. I really like one item in particular: this bag doubles as a work/laptop bag *and* an overnight/travel bag, and several of the features are especially useful in that regard (it is expandable, and it has elastic tie-downs for clothing). My son actually snagged the bag from me, and--declaring its now his--uses it for school stuff. All of the various compartments are great for his books, papers, folders, phone, school-issued ipad, lunchbag, musical instrument bits & bobs, and all the other stuff he has to carry back & forth. Its actually a good, multipurpose backpack for a pre-teen. Itll also work really well as his carry-on travel bag for airplane rides: itll hold all his travel clothes for our destination as well as his on-plane busy activities (e.g., videogames, books, etc.). For under $50, the overall quality of this bag is pretty good considering the price. The zippers seem to be fine, the leather-like material is okay, and there is the occasional bit of durability-focused additional stitching. Im prepared to buy a second one for my son.
