Needed a new switch for my front passenger seat in my 2012 Ford Explorer as the previous was no longer working correctly. Found this item and thought it worth giving a shot as the price was well below that of the price from other sources. I elected to order the switch with the knob in case I broke the knob removing the old one. Switching out was very easy, pop the old knob for direction off, pop the firmness knob off, and then pop the plate off. Went in easy, and all directional movement has been restored for the seat. Wouldn’t have needed the knob on this item in the end, but it was nice just in case. Note the knob has a slightly different style than the one on my vehicle, the existing one has smoother edges, less grip.

This seat switch works we will see how long it holds up. But I installed it on my 07 mustang since the other one kept blowing fuses lol

My seat switch still did the other 2 functions on the switch but the forward and backward did not work. Did some research and part from ford or autozone same part guessing a name brand was $50 to $150. Beyond please part looked identical to what I needed and my seat works great now! Plus arrived in 24hrs, huge bonus since my died and I could not move my seat at all.

Fixed a seat problem I’ve had for years! Kept getting coated $450+ for replacing the seat, the seat battery, etc. My seat would only move backwards, sometimes, very rarely, forwards. So happy I tried this.

Not correct part

My son bought a used Ford mustang. Couldnt find seat control switch that was a ton of money. This one works great. Kinda funny seeing my 6 foot son trying to get in a seat that was set to someone 5 feet tall. The switch made it safe for driving though.

Part works perfectly at a very good price. My 26 year old daughter installed by herself with no mechanic experience.

Glad I tried this first. Saw some wires not from factory but ordered this first and it fixed my problem.
