> 3 dayUnlike some other USB hubs Ive bought, which seem rather finicky about what you connect to it (some things work, some dont) this one fired up right away and every single thing worked on the very first try when I booted up. I was actually floored, my mouse worked, my keyboard worked, etc. It seemed almost like a dream to be honest. Ive always found one or two things that dont work with these. So I can wholeheartedly recommend this 100%!!!!

08-06-2025I have used USB hub via a computer port which does not have enough power to work with the high-capacity external drive. This hub plugin and works well. The price is a little high. The design with individually turn-on ports is great, but you cannot see if it is turned on or off. These are small issues, in general, it is a good hub.

> 3 dayI have a HP Spectre notebook that I use in conjunction with a docking station to connect to two monitors, Ethernet, and audio. The docking station only has three USB-A ports but I have five USB devices that need connecting: an external hard drive, keyboard and mouse dongles, a headphone adapter, and a security dongle, plus other devices on occasion (digital camera, phone, iPad, etc.). Several other USB hubs that Ive tried either werent powered or didnt seem to accommodate all of my devices correctly (for example, my mouse wouldnt work unless the dongle was plugged in to the laptop directly). This 7 port hub provides a good solution. The hub comes in a small, nicely-packaged box and includes the hub itself, a cable to connect to your computer, and a 5v/3000ma power adapter. Connecting is simple: plug in the power adapter to the hub and to a wall outlet, and connect the USB cable to your computer and the hub. Then, plug in each of your USB devices. No configuration or software is needed. The unit itself is 5L x1.75W x.75H. As you can see in the photo, each USB port in the hub has its own on/off switch when you want to either disconnect a devices data lines or its power. What you cant see very well is that each port has small blue LED that lights when the port is switched on (these lights are not terribly bright, so they wont bother you at night). I have five devices connected (from back to front): keyboard, external hard drive, mouse dongle, audio dongle, and a security key. All work just as if they were plugged directly into my laptop. One thing to note: these are USB-A ports. If you have USB-C devices youll need an adapter. All in all, Im completely satisfied with this device. It doesnt take up much space, it looks good, its a good value, and it works exactly as its supposed to. Highly recommended!

Greater than one weekThe device work great just as I intended to use it for. Turn on and off SO MANY USB PERIPHERALS! LOL. I do like that the blue dot on illuminators are small and dim. So many devices have LEDs that can light up a room. They can be hard to see in a bright area.

> 3 dayI use a lot of wireless items, Keyboard, Mouse, game controller, headset. If you have a gaming computer you have a lot of usb ports. But sometimes you still need more room. This Usb Hub is great! 7 different slots all 3.0 usb and all controlled by their own button. This was a great value!

Greater than one weekThe laptop Im using this hub with only has two built-in USB ports which is not enough when participating in remote mentoring for a local FIRST Tech Challenge team. By adding this hub, my workflow was significantly improved as things like the external microphone and webcam can be plugged in permanently then enabled & disabled as necessary. The hub itself seems well built. The metal case adds a little more weight than a plastic enclosure of the same type which (for me) is a good thing. The hub remains stable where others might get tipped on their side by the tension applied by the cables. The lights showing which ports are active are well placed and clearly indicate active data thereby reducing the risk of accidentally unplugging an in-use device. Overall, I am quite happy with this hub and would definitely consider buying others for use elsewhere. That said, it may not be the best choice if working in a location where power sockets are limited.
