Not at all absorbent, too large- difficult to wring out and more likely to drag the ground or get in to something you dont want your detailing gear to touch (unless you are the dealership new car washer, then ii is required to load your dirty rag with grit).

These are really useful and easy to keep in the car, with bright, cheerful colors. I hope they will last a long time! Its handy to have a chamois in the car.
