The Vodiver Premium Garment Bags for Travel Hanging Clothes Suit Bag is a very decent garment bag. It is a simple (no frills), design with a short length. Its well made and will protect clothing very well during travels. Its great for an average mens suit with a couple of shirts but, I would not try much more than that unless I wanted to iron before wearing. The oxford cloth shell is quite sturdy and can handle rough handling and the zipper works perfectly. Its also easy to hang virtually anywhere. There are no additional pockets for carrying smaller items, it is a straight-forward garment bag. I consider the Vodiver garment bag a good value!

EDIT: I am changing my review to 1-star. I am literally editing this in my hotel room. I just lifted the garment bag out of my suitcase and the handle ripped off. I am being completely sincere when I say I just picked up the bag and the handle tore clean off. Whatever lazy as hell sewing job they used to attach these handles is obviously insufficient. It came off with almost no effort at all. DO NOT BUY. My original review, prior to seeing just how terrible the quality is, follows: This is a good option for any trip where you want to keep your formal suit in relatively nice shape. I wouldnt expect it to come out of this bag in perfect condition, but it will for sure be a lot nicer and less wrinkled than cramming your suit in a suitcase with all your other clothes. The downside (upside?) is this bag is rather small - it will hold 1 suit easily, and maybe 2 if you really carefully stuff them together into this bag. The small size means it will easily fit in a carry-on compartment or even under an airplane seat, so you wont have to check any bags if you dont want to.

This garment bag is nice, but the quality is not as great as I expected.

I have always kept my suits in the bags the store gives you when you purchase the suit. Those work OK, but this garment bag is a clear step up from those. The material is much thicker and more sturdy than those free with purchase garment bags. The quality on this garment bag seems good. The material seems sturdy enough and the zippers are fine (not super high quality but perfectly adequate for something like a garment bag). A useful feature of this garment bag is that it is made to fold in half and then zip closed with a carrying handle. This would be very useful for traveling. There are garment bags which are higher quality, but those are significantly more expensive. This seems like a good compromise for something much better than the most basic, low cost garment bags but still budget friendly. Note the length (which is indicated as 39.4 inches on one of the images on the Amazon page for this item). My suit fits fine with about 4 inches of additional length to spare. That is for a suit for someone 5 10. If you are very tall, it is possible a suit could be longer than what fits and completely hang free. In that case, you may want to measure your suits length and confirm it would fit in the advertised 39.4 inches.

We live in humid, sunny Florida, so I needed a new garment bag in which to store my leather jacket. I read that oxford material is good in a garment bag, which allows items to breathe. Although the outside of the bag appears to be oxford cloth, unfortunately, this bag has a vinyl, inner lining. This is probably why the bag had a plastic smell. Im disappointed. Just the front of my jacket will get some air circulation. There is a small D-ring in the back side from which to hang a few things, so that if you wanted to travel, you can fold the bag in half and zip up each side. The leather handles feel pretty good, and the leather strip across the bag is a nice attraction. At one point, I experimented to see if I could add 2 more jackets, but the bag got pretty bulky and would defeat the purpose of allowing materials to breathe. It would depend upon the type of hangers used and the kind of clothing to be hung. Im not sure about the durability of the material for a lot of traveling, but I think it would hold up enough for mini trips.

My husband loved the look of this garment bag. Its a smart and sophisticated style. Lightweight but durable and protective of the suits. He has used it for a few trips and has even gotten compliments on from others that were traveling with us.

My son needed a garment bag for his suit for all the functions he has at school. This bag did not disappoint. Its pretty well made and should last him through high school.

This is a nice size garment bag. I was able to fit a men’s jacket inside. It was well protected during travel.
