A huge upgrade from the flimsy 1/8 hooks Id been using. I discovered that 4 straight hooks will hold just about any tool, sometimes used in pairs, with the exception of screwdrivers and chisels.

I like the durability and length of the hooks, but are fairly loose inside the metal pegboard and want to come out as I lift up the tools.

Excellent hooks! These are great heavy duty hooks that you can really load down and dont flop around. For everything except pliers and most screwdrivers, these are great. The ball on the end serves a great function most of the time, but there are some tools that require this ball to be removed to fit on these pegs. I just pulled out the vice grips and snapped off the balls on a few hooks. There was some inconsistencies in manufacturing. Some of the balls werent aligned (something I exploited to remove them), for example. Some of the hooks also had different angles, which was a minor annoyance when I needed two to work in tandem. There are a couple of the hooks where the body and the hook are welded off center. I was able to bend one to be functional, the other was just too far off to be useful.

Functional

We use a lot of 6 pegboard hooks. We have several thousand in use on a day to day basis. Many break at the weld joint or get bent out of shape. These do not. They are hanging tough and getting the job done. The ball at the end is a nice safety feature. Call it a bonus. You wont be disappointed with these hooks.
