I own a general Lee, hp40, mirage, galaxy, pres richard and of all of those I have been asked more questions about the adams. Clear as a radio gets. The recurve in this radio is so good it’s annoying at times because it picks up ALL of the skip. Out of the box it takes a linear better than any of the aforementioned radios and dead keys 200 on a 250 linear. Real good for a 3.5 watt. Also the reason I got it to begin with is it the fact it’s the only pres that takes a 4 pin mic. It’s a one trick pony but that one trick outperforms radios at almost 10 times it’s price ( ones you get it tuned get new misfits etc). Can’t go wrong with this one!!

Im glad I got this one. I used the president antenna and didnt need to adjust anything when I checked the swr. Really impressive. Havent tried the PA yet. Still looking for a speaker.

Loud audio and solid power after accessing the hidden menu. Many useful features not found on other more expensive compact radios. Very good reception.

Ive owned many, many different CB radios over the past twenty years. Cobra 19s, Uniden Pro510s, all the way up to higher end Galaxies and Connex radios. For a sub $100 CB, youll be hard pressed to find something with more features and quality than this little radio right here. Leave it completely stock, hook it up to a good antenna and yap your gums off on Channel 19.

Used it most of last week for the first time. WOrked well all week!

4 Pin MIC input same as Cobra/Uniden. I recommend taking the PL-259 lock washer ring around antenna connector off and add a little thread lock. One of my antenna cables did not screw down firmly as there is not enough thread. The internal speaker is loud and I can hear a little cabinet chatter. I recommend this radio for bang for buck.
