> 3 dayI read the reviews when i bought it so i thought it was a good cb radio but too noisy and hardly find somebody when there are transmission its not clear even though u push that noise reducer(nb) and the worst thing is the instruction its not detail what to push to get to different feauture,im a new cb user and the ibstruction does not help i dont how these people got nice review of this product which im not experiencing what they experience. Id like to return it but the installer said i have to pay again to uninstall it. This is so frustrating i trusted the review but in vain.

Greater than one weekItem was not a quality item. Metal to thin and lift arms to big for quick hitch.Avoid this item. The titan is better ..

Greater than one weekGood small radio. You do need an SWR meter, but so what? You should have one anyway. You can use an Astatic 636 mic with this. Just set the radio for “dynamic” as per instructions. I have a home made custom mount in my truck so it sits right next to my e-log. Great for truckers who have more than one radio

> 3 dayNot pleased with my decision, which bears little on this unites performance. 1st, You cannot use this CB radio until you buy a SWR meter. Therefore, a lower cost unit actually carries a higher price. On many modern radios SWR is built in, not on Andy 2. 2nd, For me, the most important button is the channel selector. Andy II channel selectors are tiny soft buttons jammed in between a knob, a mic jack and some other stuff. NOT easy to change channels. 3rd, For me, the next most used function is “Scan” feature. For Andy II to enter channel scan one must press and hold one tiny channel select button....for like 10 seconds until it enters scan. Very very difficult. I should have made a better radio selection regarding the feature that is most important to me: Ease of use. 3 stars because it’s no different from a entry level uniden or cobra but more difficult to operate at twice the cost. For me...fail. I’ll relegate this to a ranch sxs not in my truck as my primary. Too difficult to change channels and I’m not buying a meter for one time use. Win some lose some.

> 3 dayHavent installed yet. But its compact which will be perfect for my pickup. Cant really mod it though. I purchased an astatic mic to replace the stock mic which I do for every cb. Ill give an update after I install it and see how it does. Im going to run a Wilson 2000 antenna with it. Probably overkill for this unit but its what I have right now. Although I may run a 102 stainless whip later after I build my bed rack that way I can mount it on top center of my truck for better ground plain

Greater than one weekI really dont understand the hootin and hollerin about this CB. Its on the cheaper side, sure, but its still near $100 and for that its not a great deal. For $30-50 more you can get a much better performing CB from Uniden or comparable. The speaker is subpar, very difficult to hear and understand (muddled). Lets be honest, the noise cancellation doesnt work at all. It actually sounds better with it off. The auto scanning works but is difficult to engage and difficult to disengage when you want to stay on a channel. Accessing the menus for tuning and other adjustments is way too complicated compared to others. Im likely returning this and ordering a uniden.
