This is a great radio. Full of useful features, and simple to use. The auto SWR is a really nice touch. Very good receiver and picks up lots of skip when it’s around. Can be a bit staticky but that’s in my car so just turn the receive gain down a bit and it’s all good. Even in the brightest sun you can still read the display. Paired with a good antenna this is a fine radio.

Great radio and built sturdy with a large heat sink. Great features and better than the Cobra line of radios IMO.

I like this cb radio. You have the right features to work with. I like the scan, weather and RF power adjustment the most. The mic has channel up/down and also activates the scan feature. I can adjust the dead key from about .5-3.5 watts by my meter with the RF power. Ive found about 4 oclock setting is good for my mic gain. The ASC is new to me, I may use that feature more when I get better confidence in It. The RF gain is really smooth and works well. You do need a separate SWR meter to match it.

Works as advertised. Used this radio to replace a ranger 696that I’ve had for 10 years. I hardly ever talk sideband in the mobile so I decided on this guy. It’s smaller and lighter than the ranger I replaced seems to be on channel. I do really enjoy the asc circuit. If I want to hear more distant stuff I turn the squelch up til it disengages the asc and it works as normal. Really in my mind what the cobra 29 lx should have been.

This is a great medium sized CB radio that is smaller than a Cobra 29.More like the size of a cobra 25..Without any mods it gets out and hears good even without me tuning the SWR.Radio comes with Roger beep and talkback.Display is really nice because you can change the colors.

Complicated cb I’ve ever owned. And antenna hard to find that will work
