> 3 dayDo yourself a favor and get this radio. Only been trucking for 11yrs now and I’ve gone through more than a few radios, it kinda became a hobby. Anyways, all of the good reviews are 100% true. This is THE BEST radio “out of the box” I’ve ever had the pleasure of keying up. The 50w are there from the factory, no tuning required. The RECEIVE IS AMAZING, and so clear. The ASC (auto squelch control) is a game changer and I don’t ever want a radio without it again. This radio is packed with great features, you’ll just have to see for yourself.

> 3 dayThe President Richard is a great rig with all the bells and gimmicks found on high $ Export jobs at a better $ The Dick is capable of 85 watts pep with only a menu touch this is a 3 final rig and has many features Roger beep, Echo, Talk back and a useful scanning mode that scans all 40 channels simultaneously channel up and down buttons on the mic Vox and a lot more Ive owned a few radios in this hobby and this is one of the best rigs for the $ Ive ever had the receive is on par with the best radios in the game I just cannot say enough about the Dick it can be turned down to run an amplifier I 100% recommend this radio. I purchased this radio twice Amazon took care of my problem and made it right.

> 3 dayThis is my second President Richard. It Is a learning curve over a Connex or Galaxy. This is not an out of the box 11 meter radio. To talk to other trucks using CBs you will have to have it converted or convert it yoursel. I did mine myself as CB shops are not as common as they used to be. A big plus for me is being able to turn up the power from a menu without having to open up the radio. You will have to open it for the conversion. The side bands are a bit complicated but I dont use them. It has a good clear sound and my first one always got complimented on its sound and power. I like how being small it takes people by surprise. Has all the bells and whistles I wanted without having to add more or spend a bunch of money at a Cb Shop paying to mod a new radio.

> 3 dayHere is how to modify the President Richard for CB radio operation: 1) Open it up and install a Jumper Wire where the picture shows the circled image. (You can also look at the review from Notachi where he uses a Red jumper wire at the same location.) 2) Then go into the menu & enter code 1234 at the PD menu location. (PD 1234) 3) Now you have a High Performance CB Radio.

> 3 dayThis radio has loud but very clear modulation. It out performs some of the other export radios. Very happy with mine
