I didnt think my cockatiels would use this when I first bought it but it is all the perch on throughout the day. They absolutely love it and love to chew on the wood pieces and strings. My only concern is taking caution about where you are hanging it in the cage because the loops of the strings are larger than I would like and your birds claws or head (hopefully never!) can get twisted in it. I have my ladder hung up higher so that the edges where the loops of string are larger are more out of reach for my birds to get into (a feeder is blocking one end and the other end was placed high enough to where it is not comfortable to perch). Otherwise this is a fantastic ladder!

i expected it to be more wide but was kind of disappointed by the size.

This met my expectations. Its well constructed, sturdy and easy to attach. My birds however, are not interested.

Hasnt been destroyed yet! The metal clasps untwist on their on which is annoying.

My Jenday Conure has chewed through some of the wood pieces alrady, and we have only had it for a few days. My conure isnt very big or overly distructive. I think this may be better suited for smaller birds who dont chew.

Its quality is good but it is not durable for my budgies because they gnaw stairs and it is going to have sharp corners that can be harmful for my budgies

Its not something my parrot can climb on, i feel like it would break if he tried to use it, wouldnt recommend for larger birds

This didnt work super well for my rats because they are FAT! But for smaller and lighter critters it would be a great unit! Built really well!

My rats are a huge fan of this ladder. They enjoy climbing on it and occasionally chewing on it. Im a fan of the easy to use latches at the ends.
