> 3 dayPurchased these as they were so cute and I wanted to get my son something that would help with his motor skills while being fun, unfortunately we had a near fatal incident that we want to ensure other parents are aware of. Bought these for my 20 month old, loved them at first and played with them often over the first 2 days we had them. These eggs were cute and seemed well made, our son still chews on a lot of his toys but these seemed very sturdy. A few days after receiving, my son was playing with these eggs as usual and was happy and having a fun time putting them together while chewing on them sporadically as he had been each time he played with them. I had turned away to grab something across the room and heard an odd noise, when I looked back my son was struggling with something in his mouth. I ran over to see what it was and he had something lodged in his mouth that I could not get out! Thankfully my husband was home this day and he was able to work the item out only for us to realize one of the shapes had actually come apart from the egg. To be clear, we checked these upon receiving to ensure there were no safety hazards and everything seemed securely made. Even so we always watch our child when he is playing to be able to prevent these kinds of situations but it took that split second of turning away for that item that I thought was so secure to come apart and get stuck in his mouth. Suffice it to say we took he rest of the eggs away for fear of a similar situation occurring. These eggs were adorable and are probably perfect for children who do not still put things in their mouth and I’m sure not all sets will run the risk of coming apart. Thankfully this incident wasnt as bad as it could have been and I wanted to share our experience so that others out there will keep a closer eye out and hopefully avoid a scare like ours.

> 3 dayNot sure if I just happen to get a defective toy, but many of the eggs dont close tight. Child held egg and as she was placing it down, the bottom part of the egg came off on its own. One of the tabs to open the box broke after 1 week.

Greater than one weekWe received a set of these eggs for my granddaughters one year birthday. She is now 18 months and still loves them as one of her favorite toys. At first, she liked taking them in and out of the container - very sturdy. Now she is getting to the point that she is starting to match the shapes. This is definitely a toy that is growing with her! I bought another set for my grandson for Christmas.

> 3 dayI got this for my daughter for Christmas and two of the eggs did not close well , (circle and flower shape) and they were the only 2 where the inside came out so I believe I received a damaged or faulty set. Other than that it’s a good learning toy but would be better if all 12 eggs worked properly
