I have been rewiring the power distribution portion of the wiring loom in a classic car. I have tried many other products, like standard electrical tape, to no avail. The Tesa tap is highly durable and it sticks to itself and does not let go. I used inside the car and under the hood with excellent results. The Value of this product far exceeds the price. It works well for what it is designed for. It’s durable and looks like factory. It could stand to be a little more adhesive but so can the best stuff on the market. Overall it works and looks great at a good cost.

I had to make 3 new harnesses for my 05 truck, this made the install look OEM. Only time will tell if it holds up well to the heat in the engine compartment, but it is pretty tough, and I have no doubt it will protect the wires.

This tape seems to work really well. I’ve only used on a stereo install so far but seemed really good quality. I’m curious how it would hold up under the hood. That will be the real test.

Adhesion is good and doesnt come apart in the engine compartment heat. Easy to apply.
