Most my dresses are linen, so I can really appreciate the power steaming and weight of this iron. Yes, it is heavier, but it serves a purpose; I dont have to push down on clothes any longer. I iron almost everything. I iron everyday. My old one finally bit the dust and I was very worried about picking out one that would be a good quality!! This iron is absolutely great. It is heavier than other ones and is exactly what I was looking for. If you iron quite a bit, you will not be disappointed with this iron.

This iron is very smooth they smooth the only thing is you cant see the water level very easily at all.

Great iron, except, upon using it on the 3rd time it shut off and will not turn back on...I have tried everything...Thought it may have been the outlet, No. Then, I thought it was just that it needed to cool down...even thought it has an auto shut off, I tried to unplug and plug it back in some hours later...Still doesnt work. So disappointing as I have always used Rowenta irons and never had an issue. I will try another model, nothing is perfect, they have not lost a customer... I have faith a new model may do the trick.
