This is perfect for a home bar. The materials are good quality and the kit just looks good. Also, the little cocktail recipes booklet is a very nice extra. The ice tongs could be better, I have a hard time holding the ice with them, especially bigger cubes.

Ordered the stainless steel Boston shaker set and its great! I agree completely with what others have mentioned about the bamboo base: it is solid and well-crafted, with the nice added touch of small grooves in the base that help each of the tools stay upright and in place. The tools themselves feel sleek and well-built: the muddler has a bit of weight to it making it feel sturdy, and the tall tin of the Boston shaker has a weighted bottom which limits the chance of knocking it over (and spilling your cocktail-in-the-making! Note: the shorter tin isnt weighted but I usually dont assemble my cocktails in the shorter tin, so for me this is not much of an issue.). The grooves of the bar spoon are smooth and comfortable to hold on to. The liquor pourers have fit really well on a handful of bottles that Ive tested them with so far, and the inclusion of the pourer cleaner brushes is a thoughtful addition. The stainless steel set is dishwasher safe, also! All in all, this is a solid, sturdy, and stylish bartending kit. Would make a great gift for anyone looking to start crafting their own home cocktails!
