This is only for one elbow, one knee. This doesnt make sense to me. Why doesnt it have two pieces for the elbows, and two for the knees? Who only guards one elbow, one knee?

Finally, knee and elbow pads sized for an actual adult male! The Pro-Tec website has a useful sizing chart.

The size chart is not accurate - these pads fit tight. No option to exchange- I’d have to send back and order again.

Arrived torn on the strap. Did not realize until my son went to put it on. Too late to return as he needed it in order to ride in the skate park. Now have to pay to have it fixed.

These are an excellent set of affordable, low impact pads that are great for those just getting in to roller sports, starting out with using pads, or wanting protection from ground level falls. However, if youre wanting protection from high impact situations such as knees slides or long falls to the elbows, then youll likely want to look for something with better protection. After roughly 4 months of hardcore use (7 hours a week minimum) skateboarding on ramps (between 4 and 12 ft tall), the knee pads have definitely stared to show signs of wear, with one pad having a snapped strap buckle (which is fixable with a little super glue but has broken more than once) and a cracked cap, and the other having rips exposing the liner. The liner is also compressed heavily towards the middle on both, and doesnt provide as good of protection as it did when it was new, but still works. I should point out that this is the result of heavy impacts at high speeds (knee sliding on a 10 ft vertical ramp, for example) so they will likely hold up pretty well if you plan on using them for less intense riding. The elbow pads have held up great, but admittedly havent taken nearly as much abuse as the knee pads. Theyve definitely help prevent some nasty swell-bow regardless. Both pads fit quite comfortably, but, like most pads, can ride down when sliding, so a set of gaskets or wearing tight clothing under neath them isnt a bad idea. Overall, I would easily recommend these to anyone look for a great set of light, comfortable pads to get started with. But, be prepared to replace these somewhere down the road, either with another set or something more heavy duty, such as 187 Killer Pad Pros.

Seems like a great quality product, but far too small for my legs. The elbow pads fit alright but ultimately it wasnt work keeping just for elbow pads.
