> 24 hourI just mounted it on the back of my truck, tool box today. Easy to mount. I just used to liquid paper to mark the drill holes, drilled the holes, and mounted with machine screws, regular washers, lock washers and machine nuts. It mounts strong.

> 24 hourPut them on the tool box on my F-250 with plain black antennas. They look and fit great.

> 24 hourGreat product! Im really impressed with the quality, but it really should come with some self tapping screws (and preferably some nuts and bolts to replace the self tapping screws). Only reason its a 4 star review is because of the lack of screws/bolts.

> 24 hourThe only modification to THIS item was enlarged bolt holes. The center hole is ground flat and slightly recessed both sides and both sides have a little grip. From a different seller, I ordered the smooth mount first. They were out of stock and asked if I would take this diamond style (it matches the toolbox) so I agreed. The diamond shape (mostly) fits each other, (I still want the smooth style) but the antenna connector has diamonds around the hole which I ground down flat so the actual antenna connector is (flush) fits properly and secure. They both look good, diamond doesnt fit smooth surfaces as well as a smooth mount and its difficult to make a perfect fit. I will be enlarging the mount holes to fit strong bolts. I mounted the first mount using 5/16 stainless steel bolts and a heavy duty 3/8 x 24 mount.
