I thought this was going to be a great case, unfortunately its already falling apart. The stitching for the closure button is coming undone already. I dont use it a ton, so its not like its being over used. I have a feeling that Im going to need to get another case soon.

So I bought a switch lite because holding the regular switch in handheld mode would flare up the tendonitis in my wrist. The lite was so much better for me, and I bought grips for them which made them 100% more comfortable. I have mini gaming sessions with my friends every other weekend or so, but never too far from home, so I wanted a case that was light, easy to carry, but still covered my switch lite with the grip case. I saw the minimalist style of this case and wanted it immediately, but was unsure if it would actually fit a switch lite that had grips. I finally pulled the trigger after someone commented that it would most likely be big enough to hold it with the grips and I am happy to say that it fits perfectly. My switch lite has the JETech Protective Case and this carrying case is just big enough to fit it snug. Its not too tight where the joysticks are being pushed around in awkward angles, but it does need to be placed in carefully. The elastic game cartridge holders are tight and feel super secure. I dont feel like my games would fall out randomly. But since it is elastic, over time it would stretch, but right now they are fantastic. All in all, I am very pleased with this case and will be using it for my local gaming sessions. I must note though, that this is not at all a hard case. If your switch fell in this case, it might not protect it from possibly breaking or cracking the screen. If you were going on a long trip, you might want to use a hard case instead. But for on the go, quick gaming sessions, this is perfect for me and my needs and I am very pleased with this product.

If you were wondering if you can add pins or a patch. You actually can but the fabric is pretty thick keep that in mind other than that it’s perfect for the Lite you can’t fit a grip case at all. I recommend just a hard clear case or a skin.

I’m always skeptical about cheap things on Amazon but needed something to keep my switch safe when traveling. This has exceeded expectations. Months and many countries later I can say that my switch is clean, safe, and organized in my backpack. Now when I pull it out to play Zelda I can also feel stylish. It’s not often I find such value in a purchase.
