Its got a padded internal lining for protection against damage, and a nice elastic strap to keep my drive from moving around too much. The inner mesh pouch is sufficient for the special cable that came with my drive. I like the padded flap thats positioned between the mesh pouch and the drive compartment - it helps to keep the metal parts of the cable from scratching the drive.
