> 24 hourThis dye was to try making a water-resistant ink for fountain pens. Im still playing with the formulation to get it to be more water resistant. But it does make a deliciously orange ink at a concentration of 3%. A 0.5% addition of a wetting agent (Silwet) seems to get me started toward water resistance and good flow in fountain pens. Ill be playing around with some sodium carbonate (soda ash) to see if that improves the water resistance aspect without running down the pH. The product came in a timely way and was well packaged without being over-packaged. The product dissolves completely in water without precipitate, so that makes no filtration needed in formulating an ink.

> 24 hourI used this to make a Florida Gator themed tie dye. Jacquard quality, and a fair price helped me get my project off the ground.

> 24 hourLove it. I wanted to turn a white shirt into a bicycling shirt and this is a great, high visibility color. Note that when you dye a garment, the thread seams don’t usually change color, so your top stitching will remain the color it originally was. In that case, choose a dye color that’s somewhat similar to the color of the stitching, if possible. I dyed a white shirt orange, and because the orange is bright and not a dark color, the white top stitching doesn’t really show up.
