> 24 hourWe are a Melissa and Doug family, but when Amazon led me to this gem of a puzzle, I thought to give it a try. Bought as a gift, it offers so much more variety! It will probably have a longer interest-life because of its diversity.

> 24 hourCute puzzle! I bought this for my grandson who is turning a year old. The pictures next to the product description are accurate. The pieces are colorful and each piece has a handle that will be easy for him to grab (stick up about ¾”). The wood pieces are about ¼” thick. The company whose name is on the back (Brybelly) is out of Indiana but it’s a drop ship provider and wholesale company, not the manufacturer. The puzzle is made in China. I called customer service because I was concerned about the safety of the pieces in case he puts them in his mouth. The product description doesn’t list lead free paint. The rep I spoke to assured me that they use lead free paint and varnish. I asked why it wasn’t listed on the description and she said they should do that and I agree, it would be a good thing to do. She was very quick to say it’s all safe – I do wish they advertised it as lead free paint and the standards it meets since it’s a toy geared to toddlers (12 month and up). For that reason, I’m giving it a 4-star not 5-star.

> 24 hourThis is the cutest and most well-made puzzle. My 18 month old is enthralled with it, and will spend 20 minutes at least with it. I keep it stored up so the pieces dont get thrown around and lost, but for now it keeps his attention more than the tv!
