I needed an outdoor extension cord for long-term/permanent use to power an electric fence charge about 85 feet from the house. Weve been using it for a few months and have been very happy with it. Its ridiculously sturdy - I probably didnt need a 10-gauge cord, but Im glad I have it. Its been exposed to some pretty serious elements - rain, sleet, snow, and a little sun now and then - and its holding up, so Id say the weatherproof claims are solid, and I have every reason to believe that it will continue to be durable and sturdy.

So far so good - its working fine and seems really solid. Time will tell. I use it to keep my rv plugged in and on a timer so the batteries stay charged.

This is a beast of a Drop Cord. I wanted a 10/3, weather resistant drop cord that I could use at 100. This is it!. I looked everywhere to find this one at this price. Most of the cords that I found were at least $40-$80 more. This also has three outlets at the service end.

Heavy, thick, seems durable- but a chunk of the 3-outlet head broke off seemingly during shipping. The head is still solid and Id buy again.
