> 24 hourI had PFsense running on a 4 core computer that drew about 54 watts, according to my Kill A Watt. I already had the ram and the mSATA drive, and now the Protectli Vault does the same work using 10 watts.

> 24 hourThis is a very solid and sturdy box. Setup was a breeze. SSD, RAM and pfSense installed in about 30 mins. No issues whatsoever so far, and it has handled everything I have thrown at it without the CPU going above 25%.

> 24 hourI use these and vaiants for many pfsense deployments for home and commercial projects. Great hardware and well worth the price. I will continue to use these in future projects.

> 24 hourThroughput on this device is extremely low. 1 Gb per second ethernet is slower than my current internet speed. Product had potential, but out of date hardware specs.

> 24 hourEasy install and operation with OPNSense. Reasonably fast operation with hardware for the money, too slow in my tests to run squid proxy with filtering if speed/heavy usage required but I don’t really need that. It is very reasonably warm in operation but I added an external usb quiet free standing fan to move low speed air across it and case stays cool to touch. Very satisfied, and recommended. Been running a month now, absolutely no issues.

> 24 hourBought the 4 port without SSD and Ram to run pfsense. 100% uptime. The hardware is well built and the board itself. I recommend it to friends and whoever is looking to upgrade their firewall.

> 24 hourIt works, and it works great. Yes, a little pricey, but Ive had no issues with running pfSense on it. My old pfSense overheated and died on me (used hardware that lasted 5+ years), and I bought this to replace it.

> 24 hourBeen running solid since I set it up as my router. Mounted on the wall with the heat sink slats vertical to give it some nice convection cooling.

> 24 hourIve been looking for something to run my home/small office firewall. Ive gone the flashed router path but by far, this is the best option to do. Worth the $$ and the time spent. I have pfsense firewall running.

> 24 hourSo far the system has been running without any issues except that the cooling sink get hot fairly quick to the touch. The normal temperature in the house does not seem enough to cool it an ambient temp without a forcing air through the fins.. I had to add a cooling fan on top of the sink to keep it cool to the touch. Another point to make to take in consideration is the price. I would get it for under $300 if I would go directly to Protectli instead.
