> 24 hourI set up the unit with pfSense. It seemed to work fine, but unit ran VERY HOT. Only lasted about 5 months before it died. As far as I can tell the main board died probably from overheating. Many similar Mini PCs are having the same issues. Just more Chinese garbage. REVISED: I was able to revive the unit with a new CMOS battery.

> 24 hourI put RAM and storage in this and installed openSense and it works like a charm. Couldnt recommend it more to those who know what they are doing around software routers. Havent used the computer for any other function, so I cant speak to its efficacy in other circumstance, but I love it as a router!

> 24 hourThroughput on this device is extremely low. 1 Gb per second ethernet is slower than my current internet speed. Product had potential, but out of date hardware specs.

> 24 hourVery disappointing. Ive had raspberry PIs and even older PCs run far longer 24x7. Cheaply made and clearly did not do a good job dissipating heat.

> 24 hourFinally got around to working on this after the 6 port version i recently got were of no use due to the screw that was supposed to hold the m2 ssd post would not come off the post. To the point I striped the screw top... So... found this 4 port version that I bought months ago. Installed pfsense, and it looks to be ok. The cooling fins feel pretty warm, though. So Im leaving a 4 star for now. Lets see if this holds up with the heat.

> 24 hourBought this for running Untangle firewall at home. CPU sits at less than 1% all day. Only complaint is the unit does run very warm to the touch. Performance has been excellent to date and all features of Untangle seem to be supported with this hardware.

> 24 hourI’ve installed pfsense and opnsense both. After installation when i change lan ip to 192.168.0.1 it stops working. But default configuration works fine. Also it gets hot you can’t even touch.

> 24 hourEasy install and operation with OPNSense. Reasonably fast operation with hardware for the money, too slow in my tests to run squid proxy with filtering if speed/heavy usage required but I don’t really need that. It is very reasonably warm in operation but I added an external usb quiet free standing fan to move low speed air across it and case stays cool to touch. Very satisfied, and recommended. Been running a month now, absolutely no issues.

> 24 hourI use these and vaiants for many pfsense deployments for home and commercial projects. Great hardware and well worth the price. I will continue to use these in future projects.
