> 3 dayI purchased this unit in order to run a stand-alone pfSense firewall for my home network. Its silent operation--no fans needed--makes it the perfect compact host.

Greater than one weekThis replaced a zotac zbox with a flakey RTL nic . A simple backup and restore had me up and running in a few minutes. The intel nics are immediately recognized and perform well and the serial console BIOS (115200-8-n-1) worked excellent for a vt100 serial install of pfsense. The heat sink temperature for me is right around 115F suricata, openvpn and ntopng running

> 3 dayThe appliance was very easy to get up and running with pfsense. Took me less than 10 minutes to install and setup a basic configuration. It was running fine for a couple of days and then pfsense started logging kernel cores. The system would restart itself and work without issue for a day or 2. That is until it continually started coring when attempting to load the wan interface.

> 3 dayHad to get this after noticing that my old laptop with pfsense was not able to keep up with newly installed fiber. It was a weak link. Backed up and restored on this device - rock solid and stable.
