Case is broken and items are not organized

I just assumed a key assortment would have the one size I needed. NOPE. So, now I have a bunch of different keys options and basically nothing to use them on. Note: None of these fit my lawn mower shaft, big wheeled trimmer shaft, or geared AC motor shaft which I think are all 5/8 shafts. Go figure.

container is super cheap and arrived all busted up (no apparent damage to shipping box). I just taped it up, not that big of a deal for me, but a little sturdier container would be nice

It’s clearly labeled imperial but in fact it is metric. I paid extra for imperial.

The 3/16 key was too large for the slot in the pulley, and I had to file it down until it fit. Instead of 0.188, it was 0.202. Upon checking all the other sizes in the set, I found they were wildly off their supposed dimensions, both too large and too small. Some of them were even square in cross section. I guess they would be good for small weights, but for pulley keys, they are junk.

The key sheared in half and broke the flywheel. Absolute junk... theyre also metric not english

To be fair the last line of the discerption tells you these are metric keys, NOT SAE. The box is labeled SAE with SAE dimensions. Keys are fair quality at best, box is junk. Evidence of spatulating from the manufacturing process. The keys were all mixed together when I got the box with two different sizes not having the right count. I guess they thought replacing one key with another size was OK and long as my total count was correct.

This contains a wide selection in reasonable lengths. I dont know what is usual. I trimmed one down and it fit well and replaces the original keyway which was damaged when the sprocket ripped open. The case opened inside the envelope during shipping. None were lost, but a piece of tape on the case would deliver a better product.
